Traumlandschaft bei tollem Winterwetter. Sanitär sehr sauber und Platz sehr ruhig. Von dort ist jeder Ort im Oberharz erreichbar. Im Winter sehr gut geräumt. Betreiber kümmern sich um alle Belange. Kommen bestimmt bald wieder. Zu Weihnachten ein Muss.

Ik begrijp die 4 sterren niet zo goed. Het is een fatsoenlijke camping die tegen een helling ligt. De plaatsen zijn ruim maar je moet daarom nogal wat kunsten uithalen om je caravan recht te zetten. Het sanitair is gedateerd maar wel schoon. Het restaurant ligt buiten de camping en de eigenaar sluit naar eigen behoefte (je moet er dus niet op tellen dat je er kunt eten). Het tarief van de camping is een verhaal op zich. Het basistarief lijkt redelijk maar voor nagenoeg alles wordt een aparte toeslag berekend en vooal het energietarief is mega. Daardoor kom je op het eind aan een rekening van een 4 sterren camping. Vandaar natuurlijk die 4 sterren.

Fijne rustige schone camping met op loopafstand alle voorzieningen, supermarkt, restaurant etcetera. In de omgeving het nodige te doen en te bekijken. Enige nadeel is middagsluiting.

Wwebsite says it all: fantastic! Very friendly people and a local village within 10 minutes walk. The pitch area was great, toilet facilities very clean and well stocked. The shop was - again - well stocked. Whole campsite was very well maintained and there was plenty of room for tents and caravans. A big plus: car can be parked next to tent. The surrounding areas are open to just about everything from 20 minute drive to 1 hour drive. We will be back soon.

Für jeden der Ruhe sucht und nach seiner Fassung leben möchte, ohne das ständige nerven von Animateuren, die einen gerne erzählen wollen wie man seinen Urlaub zu verbringen hat. Ein sauberes Areal, sehr gepflegter Rasen überall, nettes Personal. Im Umkreis von ca. 40 km sind alle Harztypischen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen. Für Eisenbahnfraks nicht weit zur Harzer Schmalspurbahn.
