Über den Platz kann man nichts negatives sagen - es ist toll, dass trotz der Baumassnahmen am Deich und der Sanierung des großen Sanitärgebäudes noch gute Laune bei Personal und Campern war.

Enttäuschend war die Reaktion der Kurverwaltung Dahme, die lapidar äusserte, dass alle durch die Kurtaxe finanzierten Einrichtungen voll nutzbar seien und somit eine Redzierung oder ein aussetzen der Kurtaxe nicht durchgeführt wird. Ein sehr mutiges und wenig gastfreundliches Verhalten, da beispielsweise auch keine Beschilderung darauf hinwies, wie man zum Hundestrand kommen kann, wann man den weg am Deich verlassen muss, um nicht vor der Baustelle im Dreck seitlich runterzurutschen, weil man dreihundert meter vorher besser die letzte Abfahrt bzw. Treppen hätte nehmen müssen usw. und als besonderen Hinweis auf die Baumassnahmen auf der HP Dahmes - da stand nichts von 24 Stunden Lärm durch Dieselpumpen o.ä.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Platz war sauber und gepflegt. Sehr gut, das Behinderten WC war abgeschlossen, einen Schlüssel erhält man nur gegen Vorlage des Behindertenausweises. Leider ist nur ein Behinderten WC vorhanden. Schlecht wenn ein Behinderter duscht und ein zweiter auf die Toilette muss. Die Schranke war defekt. Das fanden wir gut, denn warum will man seine Gäste immer „einsperren“? Die eigentlich vorhandene Ruhe wurde durch zwei Baustellen gestört. Eine, die Renovierung des Sanitätsgebäudes (Chemnitzer Platz) dürfte bald beendet sein. Noch einige Zeit dauern dürfte hingegen die Erhöhung und Sanierung des nahegelegenen Deiches. Diese Bauarbeiten werden zwar zur Hochsaison unterbrochen, in der Vor- und Nachsaison aber fortgesetzt. . Überdenken sollte die Gemeinde Dahme ihre Kurtaxe (Ostseecard genannt). Diese liegt mit 2,80 Euro bis zu 180% über den Kurtaxen der Nachbargebiete. Und das bei gleicher Gegenleistung
