Goede passantencamping, maar ook prima camping om omgeving beter te bekijken; Erfurt, Weimar, Buchenwald (voormalig concentratiekamp) Thüringer Wald en diverse burchten zijn te bezoeken.
(Wartburg in Eisenach is de moeite waard). Rustige, maar ook saaie camping.
Helaas is de snelweg wel erg goed hoorbaar! Sanitair wordt prima schoon gehouden. Broodjes zijn van te voren te bestellen. Op ca. 3 km is er een grote supermarkt. Goedkope camping. Nadeel: douchen kost een euro (nooit wachttijden!) en de elektriciteit wordt met een meter berekend.

Wij gebruiken Drei Gleichen al jaren als doorgangscamping voor één nacht en dit bevalt ons prima. We hebben dan een rustige plek en kijken uit op de korenvelden en de paarden. We staan dan gelukkig niet hutje aan mutje. Er is verder weinig te doen, maar het is er heel schoon en prettig om een nachtje te kamperen. Het is vlak langs de snelweg, dat is heel handig, maar het kan ook wat overlast geven omdat je steeds de snelweg hoort. Voor ons is dit een geweldige camping om te overnachtn en wie weet blijven we nog wel eens iets langer om de omgeving te bekijken. In het dorp is het heel goed eten, zeker op het pleintje.

Het is een mooie schone camping met veel ruimte. Alleen het geluid van de autobaan geeft bij weinig wind veel geluidsoverlast.

Deze camping is een ideale camping om de steden Eisenacht, Gotha, Erfurt en Weimar te bezoeken. De camping heeft heel schoon sanitair en alles is perfekt in orde. Er is een ruime keuze aan plaatsen. De plaatsen zijn ruim en niet afgebakend. Het is een rustige camping. Er is geen kantine of restaurant.
De camping ligt vlak naast een mooie golfbaan. In het restaurant van de golfbaan kan men zeer goed eten tegen normale prijzen. Het restaurant is echt aan te bevelen. In de omgeving kan heel goed gefietst worden. Er zijn een aantal mooie asfaltfietspaden en deze worden in snel tempo uitgebreid. Een bezoek aan het nabijgelegen stadje Arnstad (plaats waar Bach zijn carrière als dirigent begon) kan gemakkelijk per fiets. De camping kan ook als doortrekcamping worden gebruikt: Hij ligt vlak bij de autosnelweg.
