Wij zijn hier geweest op zondag 15 mei 2011.
Het personeel was bijna onbeschoft.
Het tarief van de camping is 13 euro maar wij moesten 15 pond betalen.
Op de vraag hoe dat kon werd verteld dat de rest boekingskosten waren.
Wij hadden niet geboekt want dat doen wij nooit en ook niet van te voren gebeld om te vragen of er plek was.
Dit is dus gewoon geen 13 euro camping zelfs geen acsi camping

We kregen een mooie ruime plaats, mooi groen. Camping is goed gelegen om de omgeving van Exeter te bezoeken. Exeter zelf is per trein goed bereikbaar. Saniatair is voor onze begrippen verouderd (zie je meer in Engeland), maar wordt goed schoongehouden. Enige minpuntje was dat we op zaterdag wilden vertrekken om 08.00 uur en de receptie niet was geopend, wat volgens het openingsschema wel zou moeten zijn. De vriendelijke beheerder van de shop heeft ons de borg van de slagboom gegeven, zodat we toch tijdig konden vertrekken. Dit is een camping waar we vaker naar toe zouden kunnen gaan.

Toegang tot de camping is wat rommelig. Mooi aangelegd en goede voorzieningen, inclusief winkel. Goed uitgangspunt voor Devon.

De camping op zich is niet echt slecht. De plek waar wij stonden was redelijk van formaat en mooi groen. Het sanitair is wat verouderd maar redelijk schoon. De speel tuin is mooi en ook het binnen- en buitenzwembadje zijn niet groot maar verder prima. Maar het personeel is ongeïnteresseerd. De snackbar geeft een stinkende walm en het grootste vertier is bingo en spelautomaten (tot in de wasserette toe). De campinggasten zijn tot laat in de nacht erg lawaaierig. Kortom, ons zien ze er niet meer terug

De camping op zich is niet slecht. Mooie grasplekken, aardig zwembadje binnen en buiten, mooie speeltuin en de toiletgebouwen waren wat verouderd maar redelijk schoon. Maar bij de receptie waren ze, terwijl ze ons hielpen, nog met 3 andere dingen bezig, wat op mij erg onbeleefd overkomt. Er waren in de kantine veel gokkasten en dergelijke aanwezig, zelfs een paar in de wasserette, wat niet direct ons vertier is. Uit de snackbar kwam een stinkende walm en het publiek dat de camping bevolkte was erg lawaaierig. De kust is erg mooi. Voor een goede supermarkt moest je toch wel een behoorlijk eind rijden, maar om een gokkast te vinden hoefde je niet ver. Dus voor ons toch maar niet meer.
