Located on the Nafplion-Tolo road. Past Assini village at roundabout follow signs Kastraki. After about 2 km turn left at the bend in the road. The camp site is signposted.

Een leuke camping om een vakantie door te brengen. Het restaurant bleef bij ons wel gesloten maar er is een ander visrestaurant net buiten de camping waar je je vis op ijs kan kiezen.

There are plenty of shadows. The camp is on the beach, so nice to sleep with the sound of waves. Hot water for showering is paid 20 cents for 5-6 minutes. The beach is good, water deep enough for swimming, the beach is not crowded and has a shadow. All in all I recommend.

Das Personal ist nicht sehr freundlich! Nachdem wir versuchten den Preis etwas zu drücken, da wir am benachbarten Campingplatz weniger pro Tag bezahlt hatten, reagierten die Leute eher pampig und konnten am nächsten Tag auch nicht mal mehr Grüßen.
Der Stellplatz an sich war das Highlight, zwar hatten sie keine Parzellen, jedoch sehr viel Schatten und ab und zu bekommt man auch eine Brise vom Meereswind ab.
Der Strand ist vielleicht für Kinder etwas ungeeigneter, da beim hineingehen große Betonplatten herumliegen, wo man sich gerne die Zehen aufstößt und man dadurch auch die Tiefen schwer einschätzen kann.
Außerdem mußten wir uns weiters darüber ärgern, dass wir zum, schon etwas teuren Stellplatz auch noch für einen Duschgang (circa 6 Minuten) zu zahlen hatten, die dann auch noch eher lauwarm waren, anstatt eine schöne heisse Dusche zu erhalten.
Zumindest würde man sich dafür dann saubere Sanitäranlagen wünschen, die mehr mit einer Schlauchbehandlung gereinigt wurden.

Mooie beschaduwde plaatsen, goed gelegen voor uitstappen naar Nafplion. Nadeel douches met getons, maar wel met voldoende tijd, net. Kleine winkeltje.

Deze camping is er niet op vooruitgegaan de laatste jaren. In tegendeel; munten voor een douche en dat in zo'n warm land is - mijn inziens - zeer verouderd. En dit terwijl het muntsysteem niet altijd goed werkt. Tevens een naar verhouding dure camping, waarschijnlijk door de toch wel heel mooie ligging vlakbij zee. Bij het afrekenen 's morgens (cash)geholpen door een oude rokende brompot met de TV op de achtergrond met goed hoorbaar geluid aan. Ook kregen we geen correct afscheid.
