Seit 1975 besuchen wir diesen zum größten Teil schattigen Platz regelmäßig für 3-6 Wochen. Untergrund Gras, ebenso Grasstrand. Die Preise sind zwar recht hoch, doch ist es ein wirklich ordentlicher Campingplatz. Sehr kinderfreundliches Gewässer. Optimal zum Plantschen, weniger zum Schwimmen, da man circa 300 meter in den See laufen muss, bis das Wasser zum Hals reicht. Wassertemperaturen von 28°C sind keine Seltenheit. Recht teures Restaurant (deutsche Preise) auf dem Platz, ebenso eine Drinkbar. Cafe/Eisdiele, Gemüsehandel, Lebensmittelgeschäft, weiteres Restaurant vor dem Campingplatz. Bahnhof 3 Kilometer, Fähre 1 Kilometer. Wenn man diesen Campingplatz für einen längeren Aufenthalt wählt, macht man bestimmt keinen Fehler.

Camping aan de zeer toeristische zuidkant Balaton. Aan de andere zijde van de weg is een soort festival-camping; tijdens ons verblijf was er daar een Motor festival met dag/nacht live muziek(voor de gehele omgeving luid en duidelijk te horen). Camping ligt aan een zeer mooie plek aan het Balaton tegenover Tihany met lang ondiep water; gunstig voor kinderen. De kant is met gras begroeid en goed onderhouden. Het sanitair is goed, maar wordt slecht schoon gemaakt ondanks kasten vol schoonmaakspullen en personeel. Bij aankomst wil men paspoort houden, niet doen dus, dan maken ze kopie! Als men van leven in de tent houdt, dan is dit de juiste camping, maar voor rust zal je elders moeten zijn. Alleen de ligging aan het Balaton rechtvaardigt misschien de hoge prijs.
