Ook wij waren "Bij Maria" op de camping in begin juni 2008 in Kemeneskápolna. We kwamen voor twee dagen maar het werden er 7 , dat spreekt dus voor zich. Maria (aanwezig van 7 uur 's morgens tot 's avonds stond altijd klaar met raad en daad. Er waren dit jaar veel kersen en ze bakte regelmatig lekkere dingen en dat werd uitgedeeld op de camping. Ook had ze tips over de beste eetadressen (lekker en goedkoop) en de omgeving. Alles op de camping was 3 jaar oud en zag eruit of het gisteren werd geopend, zo netjes en schoon. Het enige wat jammer was dat er nog niet zoveel mensen kwamen en dat hebben ze zeker niet verdiend. Het is een zeer rustige en goed bewaakte camping ook worden er verschillende weken georganiseerd o.a een fietsweek en een kersenweek (zie www.vulkanresort.com).

Zeer rustige camping, vriendelijke ontvangst door Maria, boegbeeld van de camping. Sanitair is uitstekend, schoon, fris, in mooi nieuw gebouw met rondom een sfeervol aangelegde tuin. Er is een grote gemeenschappelijke ruimte waar je kunt koken-barbequen, borden, bestek, glazen alles staat ter beschikking. Voor boodschappen zijn er in Celldomolk 6 km verderop meerdere supermarkten, wel kun je verse broodjes bestellen, die dan 's morgens samen met een uitdraai van de Wereldkrant, uitgave van de wereldomroep, op je tafel liggen. Verder aanwezig, voetbalspel, enkele speeltoestellen voor kleine kinderen. Wij hebben er veel gefietst, bijna vlak, op zeer rustige wegen. Er is in het gebied nog weinig toerisme, maar in ieder dorpje is wel een cafe waar je iets kunt drinken. Na het fietsen heerlijk even zwemmen in het buiten of binnenzwembad, verder een infraroodcabine, aromasauna 60o en nog een 90o sauna. Kortom heerlijk ontstressen in een prachtige omgeving, met zorg en aandacht van Maria.

Deze prachtige camping gelegen aan de even prachtige Vulkanberg die zeer geschikt is voor mooie wandelingen is een terrein waar je alles vind waarmede je tot rust komt. Alles zit mede in de prijs zelfs de twee zwembaden (binnen en buiten) die je dag en nacht mag gebruiken enkel de sauna is betalend. Het sanitair is super zelfs netter dan in vele hotels. Zeer vriendelijk onthaal en er is dag en nacht toezicht. Er is een aparte barbequeplek waar je gebruik mag van mag maken en water en elektricieit en tv liggen overal op het terrein. Men is nu bezig met een deel van de oude stallen om te bouwen naar appartementen en een restaurant. Is geschikt om te doen met kleine kinderen met pubers kan men er weinig gaan doen daar er geen animatie is voor hen. Kortom in de bijna 30 jaar dat ik kampeer in alle mogelijke landen is dit de eerste camping die ik tegenkom waar ik helemaal niets kan op aanmerken en volgend jaar gaan wij er zeker terug, en misschien komen we er jullie nog tegen.
