Very nice site with the beach just across the road. Site is owned by 3 brothers who live just across from the entrance to the site. When we arrived it looked closed although should have been open for another week. Just as we were about to leave the owner came over and let us into site. Very friendly and helpful. We wanted to travel by train from the nearby Cropani station to Reggio di Calabria and he printed out the times and prices of the trains. A train ride that takes you along the coast all the way, very scenic, although it does take almost 4 hours each way. Cost of ticket was 9.50 euros each way. The site had hot showers but no other facilities open at this time of year but this suited us fine. Carrefour supermarket within 1 km and a few restaurants near to site. Nice tidy site with shade if you want it.
