Een hele leuke camping als je niet te hoge eisen stelt aan het sanitair. Het is welliswaar schoon maar er zijn maar 2 x 2 warme douches (Dames en Heren) geen warmwater voor de afwas en er is wel erg veel schaduw onder de olijf en citroen bomen. Helaas zagen we ook ratten op de camping lopen. Het is een ideale uitvals basis naar Amalfi, Napels en Sorrento met de Metro Mare voor zeer weinig geld. Het plaatsje zelf ligt een stuk hoger en is te bereiken met een trap (217 treden).

We stayed for 4 nights with our 6 month old daughter Amelia when on a three month tour of Italia. Giovanni, the owner, is a wealth of information and is very happy to help with bus, ferry and train times. A beautiful, peaceful place to camp under lemon trees next to a lovely harbour. We cannot recommend this site enough and will return. 10/10!!!

Familiengeführter Campingplatz. Super nett und hilfsbereit. Einfache, aber saubere Sanitärausstattung. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung. Hervorragende Küche.

De toegangsweg tot deze camping is lastig voor caravans, of zoals wij, met campers. De weg is dusdanig smal dat de bus, die twee keer per uur rijdt, voorrang heeft bij dalen én stijgen. Als je die toevallig tegenkomt heb je een probleem want je kunt er met een camper of brede caravan niet langs. De toegangsweg tot de camping is bereikbaar met een krappe, stijle bocht onder een tunneltje.

Erg leuk gelegen aan een haventje, zéér vriendelijke eigenaar, érg behulpzaam, ruime schaduwplaatsen, verouderd sanitair, heerlijk eten, niet te duur. Het dichtsbijzijnde zwembad(je) hoort bij een (duur) privéstrand en daar kun je á raison gebruik van maken. De eigenaar van de camping raadt dat niet aan en verwijst je naar het openbare (kleine) strand met kiezels (waterschoenen nodig). Goede uitvalsbasis naar bezienswaardigheden als Pompeï, Herculaneum, Vesuvio, met bus en trein.

Prachtig gelegen camping, pal aan zee. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. De camping is een prima uitvalsbasis voor bezoekjes aan bijvoorbeeld Napels, de Vesuvius, Pompei of Herculanum. Ook de kuststreek van Amalfi is zeer de moeite waard. Twee opmerkingen over de bereikbaarheid van de camping: om op het campingterrein te komen, moet een korte, maar zeer steile helling (13%) te worden opgereden. Vanaf de SS145 (zie de routebeschrijving) moet een smal en druk weggetje worden gereden (plm. 1200 mtr) met een gemiddeld stijgingspercentage van zo'n 10%. Wanneer je vertrekt van de camping, moet je dus dit weggetje omhoog rijden. Kortom: minder geschikt voor zware en grote caravans, tenzij je over een hele goede trekauto beschikt. Weet je deze "handicaps" te overwinnen, dan wacht je een pracht van een camping.
