Route:

A3, exit Castellamare direction Sorrento. At the signpost Vico Equense, do not take direction centre, but turn left and take the tunnel! After the tunnel beyond the bridge exit to the right. Drive slowly.

Treinstation op loopafstand voor bezoek Pompeï en Sorrento. Plaatsen erg krap voor caravans, maar wel in de schaduw van fruitbomen. Douches met muntjes. Tijd erg kort. Vanuit de haven op loopafstand vertrekt boot naar Capri. Was gelukkig niet druk op camping, want bij volledige bezetting te weinig sanitair. Onoverzichtelijke uitrit naar de kustweg, vooral met caravan.

Mooie camping. Er stonden onder sinaasappel- en citroenbomen,d us veel schaduw in deze zonovergoten streek. Zeer aardige beheerders. Uitvalbasis voor bezoek aan Napels, Pompei, Veuvius en Sorento. Er zijn veel restaurants op loopafstand.

Slechts één warme douche voor de vrouwen en ééntje voor de mannen. Geen wc-brillen. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Autobus 30 meter van de camping. Niet de grote luxe, maar een aanrader voor een bezoek aan het Almafiaanse schiereiland.

Wij kunnen deze camping van harte aanbevelen, de eigenaren van de camping zijn zeer behulpzaam en ze vertellen u ook alles wat er te zien is en de beste manier om er te komen. Er staat in het ACSI boekje dat het laatste van de weg erg steil is maar dit is beslist niet zo, je hebt er totaal geen problemen.

Deze camping was mij aanbevolen door een kennis. Het een schone, mooie,rustige camping met zeer hulpvaardig personeel en een uitstekende uitvalsbasis (600 m. van trein)voor bezoek aan Pompei, Herculaneum en Napels.Ook boottocht (Sorrento, Capri Amalfi)en bustocht terug Amalfi Sorrento zijn aan te bevelen.
Wel veel zwerfafval bij de kust (géén strandvakantie)en je moet wennen aan geluiden van toeterende auto's van de naastgelegen weg en hondengeblaf 'savonds.
Ik zou deze camping aan alle cultuurzoekers van harte aanbevelen.
