Kan dit geen camping noemen, eerder een parking. Het enige pluspunt is dat 50 meter van de ingang van de archeologische site bent. De plaatsen erg klein. Juist plaats om de motorhome te plaatsen. 1 nacht is genoeg daar.

Wij hadden een redelijke ruime plek, die wel moeilijk bereikbaar was door de sinasappelbomen. 4 overnachtingen.
Ideaal uitvalsbasis om Napels en Pompei te bezoeken met het openbaar vervoer. Er is wat overlast van treinverkeer maar dat went snel. De kwaliteit van de wegen en verkeer (gedrag) en criminaliteit zijn met geen pen te beschijven, zo slecht. Mentaliteit is als hufterig en onbeschoft en zeer gericht op eigen gewin (legaal of illegaal) te omschrijven, Er is veel zwerfvuil (deels door de stakingen) maar ook door het weggooigedrag. Gelukkig hebben we dit nergens anders zo ervaren in Italie. Eerst Napels zien en dan sterven is gezien het verkeer een rëële optie.

Günstig gelegener Platz mit schattigen Stellplätzen ca. 200m vom Haupteingang zu den Ausgrabungen von Pompei. S-Bahn Station nach Neapel oder Sorrent nebenan. Tagsüber etwas Unruhe durch Bahn und Verkehr auf dem Parkplatz vor dem Campingplatz. Saubere aber renovierungsbedürftige Sanitäranlagen. Warmwasser nur in den Duschen. ACSI-Tarif ohne Zusatzkosten.

Kwamen aan op een woensdag voor de middag. De camping was al vol, al was het pas half mei. De plaatsen zijn klein. De paden moeilijk begaanbaar door bomen (sinasappel) met laaghangende takken. Vooral voor grotere combinaties is het niet gemakkelijk, om dan ook nog een geschikte plaats te vinden. Een ideaal uitgangspunt voor toeristische hoogstandjes, die je vooral beter met het openbaar vervoer (niet comfortabel) kunt doen, want het verkeer is buitengewoon verschrikkelijk. Bang voor schade aan je auto? Daar niet naar toe gaan. Het sanitair is schoon, de omgeving beslist niet. De mensen aan de receptie zijn stug en sober met het geven van informatie.

Kwamen aan op zaterdag voor Pasen. Bij de receptie werd ons te verstaan gegeven dat alle campingcard plekken bezet waren en dat we alleen voor het normale tarief een plek konden krijgen. Op de site wordt niet vermeld dat er maar beperkt aantal plaatsen zijn voor campingcardhouders. Toen we een opmerking hierover maakten werd dit afgedaan met de opmerking dat we dan maar verder moesten gaan. Camping ligt dicht bij de opgravingen, dus toch maar gaan staan. Gaf geen goed gevoel, voelden ons een beetje belazerd. Camping erg druk en kleine plekken. Op 2e paasdag vertrokken veel mensen, waarna de vrijgekomen plekken werden gebruikt als parkeerplaats voor bezoekers aan de opgravingen. Wij hebben onze spullen gepakt en zijn maar vertrokken. Beslist geen aanrader.
