Deze camping verdient absoluut geen 4 sterren, zoals in het boekje aangegeven. Wij mochten alleen achteraan staan, in een zeer donker pijnboombos, waar op dat moment (hemelvaartsdag) maar 1 sanitairgebouw open was, waarvan het enigste normale toilet verstopt was. De andere toiletten waren sta-wc's. Er werd door zowel het personeel als de vaste gasten erg hard over de paden gereden, wat voor een enorme stofbende zorgde. Als pluspunt moet ik wel vermelden dat er een paar dagen voordat wij kwamen tegen muggen was gesproeid, dus die waren er nauwelijks. Aan het strand lag, ondanks dat het schoon leek te zijn, plekken met afgewerkte olie of i.d. wat dagen lang op de voetzolen bleef zitten. Omdat het een vulkanisch strand is, zie je dit dus niet. Voor ons is dit alles een reden om hier nooit meer te komen.

We hebben Sunroller Gold stacaravan via Suncamp gehuurd. All-in: airco, eindschoonmaak, zwembad en beddengoed. Caravan werd goed schoon opgeleverd. Goed warm water via zonnecollector op camping. Geen geiser in caravan (geen stank).

Camping ligt in de middle-of-nowhere (2 kilometer over landweggetje vanaf km-paaltje 102 Via Aurelia) in een schaduwrijk naaldbos. Geen winkels of andere voorzieningen binnen 10 kilometer, met uitzondering van campingfaciliteiten. Voornamelijk Italianen. Gezellige sfeer, maar vrij rumoerig tot diep in de avond/nacht.

Zwembad is vrij eenvoudig (geen wildwaterbanen en zo), maar afdoende. Gelukkig abonnement inclusief bij de stacaravan van Suncamp, anders te duur. Prachtig breed zandstrand, geleidelijk aflopend in zee. Redelijk gesorteerde supermarkt, maar voorraden zijn soms op. Redelijk geprijsd. Geldautomaat op het terrein.
