On the G.R.A. (Rome ring road) exit 6 Via Flaminia, and continue in the direction of Flaminio/Centro. At fork in road turn left towards Flaminio. Camp site entrance immediately on the right.

Emplacements trop petits pour les campeurs et de mauvaise qualité (cailloux, poussière, en pente) par rapport aux emplacements "location" (beau gazon). Sanitaires très propres et bien équipés, mais peu nombreux. Voisins du camping très bruyants. Proximité du RER pratique pour rejoindre le centre de Rome; mais route dangereuse à traverser.

Uitstekende uitvalbasis om Rome te zien. Due Ponte treinstation ligt op 5 minuten lopen. Vanaf dit station gaat elke 20 minuten een trein met als eindbestemming Flaminio (Piazza del Popolo), alwaar je de metro lijn A kan nemen. Kaartjes moet je bij receptie of info point op de camping kopen, en daarna in de trein zelf afstempelen! Camping restaurant is absolute top kwaliteit. We koken normaal zelf, maar na 1 keer in het restaurant gegeten te hebben, kwamen we elke avond terug. Restaurant heeft ook veel lokale bezoekers, dus speciaal als je met een wat grotere groep bent en wat later wilt eten, is het aan te raden om te reserveren, anders heb je pech! We waren met de tent en de tent plaatsen vonden we niet 4 sterren. Ondanks dat we ver van te voren gereserveerd hadden, kregen we geen specifieke plaats toegewezen en zei men dat we zelf maar een plaatsje moesten vinden op het tent veld. Als het druk is dan staan de tenten heel dicht bij elkaar. Jammer. Enige minpuntje van deze camping.

Great and clean camp site with nice bungalows. Suitable for families or young couples. I would not recommend it for people who would enjoy Rome during late night - connection to the city center is not the best in the night.

Het terrein van de camping en de bungalows zijn minder geschikt voor rolstoelgebruikers. Zodra je vanaf de drukke doorgangsweg het terrein van de camping op draait, kom je in een totaal andere wereld terecht. Een Oase van rust en natuur. Maar je zit ook binnen 9 minuten met je auto in de parkeergarage onder het St. Pietersplein.
Het is een supercamping. Ook het sanitair is buitengewoon, elke toilet heeft een eigen wasbak en douche.
De bungalows zijn perfect. Bij een storing wordt je binnen 10 minuten geholpen. Deze camping is echt een aanrader, voor wie in Rome wil zitten en toch in de natuur.
