Deze vrij grote camping is door de smalle toegangsweg wat lastig te bereiken met een brede caravan. Tegenliggers moeten echt ver de berm in, of terug. Er zijn veel plekken met weinig schaduw. Het sanitair is mooi en schoon.
De omgeving is leuk. Behalve naar het prachtige strand zijn ook de marmergroeven te bekijken of een uitstapje naar Cinque Terre te doen. Vlakbij de camping ligt een dorp met een goede supermarkt.

Goede camping, die een prima uitvalbasis is voor een bezoek aan Cinque Terre en de marmergroeven van Carrara. Ook Portovenere en de overige omgeving zijn de moeite waard. De helikopterbasis zorgde in de periode dat wij er waren voor wat overlast, soms zelfs 's avonds.
Je hoeft je er niet te vervelen. In 2006 waren we er een maand eerder en werd er van alles georganiseerd. De camping is verbeterd ten opzichte van 2006. Kortom, een aanrader voor zowel ouderen als families.

Deze camping was een meevaller, ook vanwege de bereikbaarheid van Cinque Terre (waar de meesten toch voor komen). Een aanrader om met de "hop on hop off boot" vanaf Lerici te gaan. De wandeling van dorp 1 naar dorp 5 is pittig, n.l. veel klimmen en dalen. Duurt incl. pauzes toch wel ca. 5 uur. Vanaf de boot heb je een mooi uitzicht op de tegen de berghellingen aangeplakte dorpjes. Toscane ligt ook niet ver en de marmergroeven van Carrara zijn vlakbij.

Centraal gelegen - aan de rivier de Magra - ideaal voor uitstapjes naar Marmergroeven Carrara (doe Marmo-toer) en 5 Terre vanuit Lerici makkelijk te bereiken, zorgt voor onvergetelijke bijzondere dag. Stap ook eens af in Portovenere (parkeer-dagkaart kopen bij parkeer wachter Lerici) - botenliefhebbers mooie omgeving met veel bekijks. Directe omgeving Boca di Margra beide zijden van rivier allerlei firma's die grote boten onderhouden. Voor mensen die het stoort, er is een Marine helicopter basis hemelsbreed 1,5 km van de camping waar 1x per week 's avonds bij zonsondergang ongeveer 1 uur wordt gevlogen. De camping is goed verzorgt met goede internet voorziening bij de Beachbar (mogelijkheid voor eigen laptop direct verbonden en/of via WiFi bar-omgeving). s'Ochtends vers brood in campingwinkel - eet eens pizza in de beachbar heerlijk. Vriendelijk/hulpvaardig personeel. Sanitair voor italiaanse begrippen uitstekend. Portofino ook bezoekje waard (hoogseizoen druk).

Die smalle toegangsweg valt best mee. Je moet alleen even verder voor je kijken. Toen wij er waren vas de helikopter basis erg aktief. Een ideale uitvalbasis voor een bezoek aan "Cinque terre" en "Portovénere. Ruime plaatsen op een mooie grasmat. Wat ouder sanitair dat uitstekend schoongehouden wordt. Ga gerust.
