Wij reden met een Ford Mondeo en Caravan Hobby 460 UFE. De totale lengte van de combinatie is dan 11,5 m en de caravan is 2.40 m breed. Dat is echt ongeschikt voor deze camping. De toegangsweg is een smalle tunnel van ongeveer 2.5 km waarin halverwege een kleine opening is gemaakt. De draai is voor mijn combinatie een kwestie van links en rechts 1 cm overhouden. Een kleine stuurfout en je caravan is echt aan gruzels. De plaatsen zijn 6,50 m breed. Je staat dus met je dissel tegen de achterkant van een andere caravan. Voor de caravan hou je een plaats van 3 x 6,5 meter over. De toiletten zijn smerig en de douchen zijn niet van deze tijd. De camping is kindonvriendelijk. Je kan alleen maar met de auto de camping af. De tunnels zijn voor wandelaars en fietsers verboden. Nu de positieve kant. Het restaurant is niet duur en goed. Het uitzicht is fantastisch. De beheerders en personeel zijn vriendelijk. Met wat kleuterwerk kan je heerlijk in zee zwemmen. Monegia is een leuk stadje.

Geisoleerd liggend, via tunnel te bereiken; rustig dus. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel, restaurantje redelijk, kleine campwinkel. Rustig strandje, zwemmen in zee prima door ligging in baai. Bungalow (#18 & 20) liggen apart en daardoor privacy, uitzicht op zee, schaduw. Tenten/Caravans op plateaus uitzicht op zee. Cinque Terre makkelijk per trein.

Mitten im Tunnel biegt man zum Campingplatz Smeraldo ab. Der Platz ist weder überlaufen, noch unüberschaubar. Für das Auto findet sich stets (z.T. im Schatten gelegen) ein Stellplatz. Vom Steinstrand aus ist man schnell im Wasser. Es gibt einen größeren Platz, auf dem mehrere Liegeplätze sind.Ansonsten macht man es sich auf einem großen Stein gemütlich. Auf dem Platz befindet sich ein Restaurant mit humanen Preisen. Auch der kleine Laden neben dem Restaurant ist mit frischem Obst u. Gemüse sowie mit Lebensmitteln welche für ein Frühstück benötigt werden ausgestattet. Neben der Rezeption befindet sich ein Raum mit einer großen Gefriertruhe und drei geräumigen Kühlschränken, wo man die Möglichkeit hat seine Einkäufe zu verstauen. Die Sanitären Einrichtungen sind sauber und wurden tägl. gereinigt.Die drei Duschen spenden warmes Wasser.Am Abend schläft man mit rauschendem Meeresgeräusch ein, morgens wird man damit geweckt.Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wirklich sehr schön.

Echt een super mooie camping!! Wel krappe plekken, maar opzich hadden wij plek genoeg. Lekker direct vanuit je tent zo de zee in.
Sanitair vonden wij niet geweldig, maar het was te overzien.
Leuke dorpjes op loop afstand en ook een prima plek om (met de trein) de cinque terre te bezoeken.

Het is een super plaats, direct aan het water gelegen. 's Nachts hoorde je het bruizen van de zee. De reis met een camper daar na toe was wel erg spannend zo met de haarspeldbochten en die tunnel. Hier komen wij zeker weer terug.
