Het was even wennen zonder gras kamperen, maar het is wel schoon. Een drukke camping met erg kleine plaatsen, die dicht op elkaar staan. De doorgaande weg, de via Aurelia geeft 's nachts een constante bron van rumoer. De gemeentelijke vuilophaaldienst begint rond 05.00 uur aan het overladen van glascontainers, niet echt bevorderlijk voor de slaap.

Wat wel positief genoemd moet worden, zijn de plaatsen onder de eucalyptysbomen. Lekker veel schaduw, is wel nodig aan de Middellandse Zee. Een supermarkt, de Standa, is op loopafstand. Jammer dat er in de directe omgeving geen boulevard met terrasjes en horeca is. Het strand was met kiezelsteen. Wel as er elke avond na het eten even vissen vanaf de rotsblokken met de telescoophengel. Ze beten als kannibalen ! Ik heb ook lekker gesnokeld en gedoken, mooie rotspartijen onder water. Het viel mij op dat sinds mijn laatste bezoek aan de Middellandse Zee in 1982 (Varigotti en Finale Ligure) de zee stukken schoner is en dat er veel meer vis zit.

Mooie camping maar zeker niet het hoge bedrag per dag waard! Te kleine plaatsen, te weinig stroomsterkte (3A) waarvoor je per dag extra moest betalen. Om in het water te geraken moest je over dikke rotsblokken klauteren. Bij woelige zee was dit geen sinecure en zelfs gevaarlijk. Wel een klein strandje wat verderop maar niet echt goed onderhouden. Een wandeling langs het strand maken was onmogelijk. Positief is wel het fietspad vanaf de camping, langs de zee op naar Sanremo (2km) en zelfs verder tot in San Lorenzo al mare (op 25 kilometer). Sanremo is leuk met al die winkelstraatjes en de markt ('s dinsdags en 's zaterdags).

Zeer verzorgde camping met rustige ligging. Wij hadden een mooie stacaravan met prachtig uitzicht over de Middellandse Zee. 's Avonds kun je over het water uitkijken in een strandstoel = geweldig! De plaatsen voor caravans en campers bij het strand waren ook heel mooi. Restaurant + entertainment alleen maar in het Italiaans. Niet altijd duidelijk welke evenementen er georganiseerd werden, zoals barbecue bij zee. Hadden we best aan mee willen doen maar was niet aangegeven bij ingang v.d. camping waar we elke dag even keken. Wisten we dus helaas niet. Afhaalmaaltijden (pizza's) waren prima. Jammer dat wifi per uur wordt berekend en niet een vast bedrag per dag onbeperkt zoals op andere campings. We komen hier zeker nog een keer!

Mooie camping maar wel wat aan de dure kant. Allemaal verharde plaatsen een aantal met uitzicht op zee die dus ook wat duurder zijn. Goed verzorgde camping vriendelijke mensen bij die receptie die ook engels spreken. Het sanitair is heel verzorgt en schoon. Het restaurant heeft goede piza s. San remo ligt op 2 km wandelen. San Remo als stad valt wat tegen. Wat wel vreemd is dat je niet met een credit card kan betalen terwijl er buiten wel een pin automaat is. Supermarkt schuin tegenover de camping.

Wir waren nach dem November/Dezember 2007 bereits das 2.mal in der Vor/Nachsaison da. Für uns in der kühlen Jahreszeit zu Hause ein idealer Platz, da fast immer warmes mediteranes Wetter herrscht.
Die Plätze ganz unten am Meer sind super aber auch teurer als unter den Pinien am oberen Teil des Campingplätz. Die Bäume dort oben sind in der heißen Jahreszeit gute Schattenspender, in unserer bevorzugten Reisezeit in diese Region sind wir froh um jeden Sonnenstrahl, daher bevorzugen wir trotz des höheren Preises die "Goldplätze" in Meeresnähe.
Das Meer ist zum Fischen ideal aber nicht zum Baden wegen der Felsküste mit reger Brandung. Dies ist aber auch ein Teil des besonderen Reizes dieses Platzes. Alle Wege und Stellplätze sind mit mehrfärbigen Betonsteinen ausgelegt, daher schmutzfrei aber nur bedingt geeignet für Zeltheringe. Ab 8 Tagen Aufenthalt gibt es günstigere Angebote, einfach nachfragen. Es gab auch einmal Grillen mit Wein auf Kosten des Hauses - wie gesagt in der ruhigeren Vorsaison. Wir kommen wieder.
