Er loopt een spoorlijn direct achter de camping. Het lijkt vaak of de trein door je tent heen rijdt. Het sanitair is verouderd en vaak niet echt schoon. De sfeer is in de afgelopen jaren verminderd. Steeds meer italianen die er al jaren komen blijven weg. Voor kinderen is er weinig te doen op de camping.

Camping site Don Diego is right at the beach a terrific place to spend you holidays. The campingsite itself has many trees so lots of shadow. The staff is very high service levelled. The palmtree boulevard invites you in the evenings to stroll/lounge to Grottammare and/or San Bennedetto del Tronto. The beach is terrific and especially for childeren (though even also for teenagers and senior people).

About 25 years ago I went there with my parents when I was a young boy - we spent quite some summer holidays at Don Diego. Now 25 years later I went with wife and daughter to the same spot and the nice cosy atmosphere is still there. Sun, beach, palmtrees, good hygienic sanitary, children's entertainment (but not overdone). It's a place to be and not overcrowded where people return at least several times because of its 'feeling at home'. I can really recommend this camping to be there with tent, caravan or your camper. Even some cabins and appartments are available.

Camping Don Diego ist der ideale Campingplatz für Familien. Wir fahren seit 7 Jahren dort hin und es gibt immer noch was neues zu entdecken. Wir lieben das familiere Ambiente und unter den Palmen kommt man sich vor wie in der Karibik. Nächstes Jahr geht wieder nach Grottammare und zu Camping Don Diego!

Het leven gaat inderdaard rustig voorbij op de camping Don Diego. De camping is wel van alle gemakken voorzien om een onvergetelijk verblijf te hebben.
