Vi er 4 venner - 2 seniorpar - som har besøgt "Don Diego" i en årrække. Først som campister med eget udstyr og i de senere år har vi lejet en dejlig bungalow. Beliggenheden ved sandstrand og promenade er optimal, og selve pladsen har en fin standard. Personalet med chefen Umberto i spidsen er meget imødekommende og gør alt for, at vores ophold bliver en oplevelse. Vi er i gang med at arrangere vores næste ophold i 2012 hos "Don Diego". Er også en ideel plads for børnefamilier.

Lawaaierige camping, vlak bij spoorbaan en drukke stadsweg.
Onvriendelijk personeel aan receptie.
Hadden in februari al gereserveerd, maar hadden weinig keus bij uitzoeken plaats.

We are not used to act on customers feedback, but we would however reply to this comment, because the criticism made ​​to the staff and to our pitches, which are our pride and joy, let us think that these have been made by a person who does not know or better has never been at the Camping Don Diego.
Besides, in our database is not present any person of Dutch nationality named Henk.
We give much attention to the dutch tourist, that is for us the second country for arrival after Italy. We take part in dutch holiday Fairs and we are recommended by several Dutch guides. In addition, the Dutch tourists, especially during the months of June and July are always satisfied both with the place and the quality of services we offer.
It is not true that you cannot choose the place, everyone can choose the pitch he preferes.
In middle August until 20, as in all the Adriatic coastal campings, it is normal that the situation is more chaotic and there is not so much possibility of choice.

Nooit meer! (voor ons in elk geval)










Camping Don Diego is een prachtige camping, en zeer mooi en vooral schoon sanitair. Het personeel is uiterst coorect en vriendelijk. Door de ligging aan het strand is de camping erg aantrekkelijk en hebben we tegen onze gewoonte in voor 2 weken geboekt. Bij aankomst een mooie plek gekregen die voor Italiaanse begrippen vrij ruim was. Tot zover het positieve. Helaas rijdt er een trein vele malen per dag én nacht op zo'n 40 meter achter de caming. Overdag geeft dit geen probleem maar 's nachts schrik je erg vaak op doordat het lijkt of de trein door de caravan heen raast. Voor kinderen fantastisch, maar de animatie die elke avond zeer overheersend over de camping schalt maakt dat je geen avond rustig voor je caravan kunt zitten lezen of wat kunt kletsen. Nadat de animatie rond 23.00 stopte was het wel heerlijk rustig tussen de treinen door. Kortom als je tegen de ongemakken kunt van de herrie, (oordopjes!!)een heerlijke camping, zoek je een

Zeer goed verzorgde camping. Erg groen, wordt goed onderhouden. (Bijna) alle standplaasen schaduwrijk. Direct aan het zandstrand. Strand met stranstoelen en parasols te huur, en vrij (gratis) strand. Groene boulevard met palmbomen. Vriendelijk personeel. Veel restaurants aan de boulevard. Supermarktje op de camping en hypermarche (Ipersimply) op 5 km afstand.

Enige maar niet onbelangrijk nadeel: de camping ligt direct naast een spoorlijn. Overdag maar ook in de nacht komen er ca 10 personen en goederentreinen langs. Sommigen lijken wel straaljagers. Wij waren er na een paar nachten aan gewend. Voor anderen zal het onoverkomelijk zijn.

Mooie Camping aan de zee, je moet wel de weg oversteken om naar het strand te gaan. Negatief zijn de treinen en klokken van de kerk iedere dag vanaf 5.00 uur in de ochtend tot in de late uurtjes. Maar des al niet te min de Camping is een tropische tuin met prachtig schoon sanitair, geweldig restaurant en de uitbater is de topper van de Camping, regelt alles en is er altijd.
De camping is rustig, mooie grote plekken en 6 ampère stroom, dus alles werkt.
Wij komen zeker terug volgend jaar.
