Heel bijzondere camping, prachtige omgeving en geweldig mooie wandel- en fietsmogelijkheden. Wij waren er half juni 2009, fijn weer, de camping goed bezet, en San Vito de Capo heeft een mooie wandelboulevard en leuke winkelstraatjes. Vooral de rust en de gemoedelijkheid is ok.

We stonden begin oktober 2008 op deze camping. De camping is beplant met dennenbomen, die voor voldoende schaduw zorgen. Er is vriendelijk personeel en het sanitair werd zeer goed onderhouden. Het restaurant was inmiddels gesloten (seizoen), maar 's morgens was er wel brood verkrijgbaar. De camping ligt op 10 minuten lopen van het plaatsje en het mooie zandstrand. Het strand werd goed schoon gehouden. De omgeving is een bezoek waard (er is onder andere een natuurpark). Een dag naar het stadje Erice loont! Van een 20 kilometer lange eenrichtingsweg was in oktober geen sprake. Dat zal wel gelden voor het hoogseizoen.

De camping ligt 15 min lopen van een kindvriendelijk strand. Ook de camping is erg kindvriendelijk. De weg naar San Vito is een eenrichtingsweg van ruim 20 km. Voor uitstapjes is dit een nadeel.

Camping met voldoende sanitaire gelegenheden. Geen warm water voor bv af te wassen. Camping ligt niet direct aan zee. plm 500 mtr lopen. Is een camping waar veel italianen uit bv Palermo hun vrije tijd doorbrengen ivm het drukke maar toch gezellige strand en het gezellige dorp. Voor uitstapjes maken is veel gelegenheid maar men moet toch een aardig eindje rijden omdat de camping op een schiereiland ligt.
Uitstapjes naar de zoutpannen bij Trapani, het middeleeuwse dorpje Erice, de tempel en openluchttheater bij Segesta, het uitzicht bij Castellamare del Golfo en het natuurpark dichtbij de camping.
