This is a campsite with a small number of sites at the back of a hotel. Campsite guests can use the facilities of the hotel, including the pool, bar and restaurant. It is within walking distance of a Lidl supermarket and about 20-30 minutes walk to the centre of Brixen. It is possible to rent bicycles from the campsite and use the excellent cycle paths to get around to centre of Brixen, the Neustift monastery or any other areas. The toilet and washing facilities are kept very clean. Due to its location German is widely spoken, besides Italian, but one seems to be able to fallback onto English in most of the town areas if necessary.

When we were there, a lot of noise was generated on weekdays from a nearby construction site. Other than that the only long-term drawback for me was that it was about a 45-60min drive to get to the bottom of a real mountains.
