Route:

A12, exit Rosignano-Marittimo. Then SS1 Aurelia to Roma, exit Vada. In Vada take the direction of Mazzanta. You'll reach the camp site after about 2 km. It is on the landward side.

Wij zijn twee keer op deze camping geweest in juni en aug sept 2007, een keer een week en een keer twee weken. Beide keren was het buiten het hoogseizoen. Door de week is het zeer rustig op de camping. Er staan dan alleen nederlanders met de ASCI pas. Maar in het weekend komen de italianen naar de camping toe. Er zijn namelijk zeer veel vaste plaatsen. Ze zetten hun auto's overal neer waardoor je het gevoel krijgt op een parkeerplaats te staan. Dat is heel jammer. Tevens zijn de erg luidruchtig. Advies: ga staan op de afgebankende plaatsen en niet op de vrije plaatsen achter aan de camping.

De ligging van de camping is perfect om de omgeving te verkennen. Wij hebben alle beroemde plaatsen gezien max 1 uur rijden

Verder raad ik iedereen af om aan de linkerzijde van de camping te staan. Er loopt daar een beekje er komen veel tijgermuggen uit. Deze prikken erg pijnlijk en doen meer pijn dan onze reguliere mug. Wij moesten door de muggen s'avonds al rond 20 uur naar binnen.

Een super camping en wat ons betreft een echte aanrader. Heel rustig, heel proper sanitair, leuke en hele ruime plek en zeker niet duur!

Een rustige camping met veel grote staanplaatsen die vaak voorzien zijn van schaduw. Het sanitair is een beetje verouderd maar wordt wel schoon gehouden. De supermarkt stelt niet veel voor maar het personeel is erg vriendelijk en het assortiment is ruim voldoende (behalve groente en fruit is karig). Verder is er voor tieners weinig te doen, bijna geen animatie. Vanaf half tien tot twaalf uur is men omringd door lawaai (muziek) van de andere campings en de nabij gelegen kermis. Het strand is perfect hoewel het wel een eindje lopen is. Vooral in de hitte is dit een hele opgave. Nabij het strand is een restaurantje waar je van en lekker ijsje of een espresso kunt genieten. De omgeving rond Vada is heel mooi. Vooral de kleine dorpjes zoals Bolgheri zijn een bezoek meer dan de moeite waard.

Het zwembad is goed verzorgd. Het sanitair wordt regelmatig schoongemaakt, maar van anti kalk hebben ze niet gehoord. Het is een uitstekende uitvalsbasis om Toscane te bezichtigen, Vada en Cecina zelf zijn niet heel bijzonder, maar er zijn wel veel lekkere restaurantjes en ijszaken. Het zandstrand is op zo'n 700 m met heel helder water. Het entertainment is 1 enthousiaste italiaan die geen engels kan. De winkeltjes op de camping zijn prima als je snel wat nodig hebt de afhaalpizza's zijn minder. Het zou fijn zijn als de medewerkers beter Engels kunnen spreken. De camping heeft tot augustus een prima prijs: de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is goed. Voor tieners is er niet veel te doen. Er is voldoende schaduw op de kampeerplekken.

Mooie camping. Wel soms lawaai van entertainment te horen van andere camping. Ligging mooi. Niet te ver van strand.
