A12, exit Rosignano Marittimo. Then SS1 Aurelia to Roma, exit Vada. In Vada take the direction of Mazzanta. You'll reach the camp site after about 2 km. It is on the landward side.

Mooie camping ,mooi goed onderhouden zwembad wat zeer goed wordt bijgehouden.vriendelijke badmeester. Plaatsen niet erg groot maar groot genoeg voor caravan met voortent.In het weekend wat drukker door de italianen maar niet veel overlast van.waren allemaal beleeft en vriendelijk.gaat waarschijnlijk volgend jaar terug.800 m van een mooi strand en gezellig dorp.Vada op de fiets goed bereikbaar.

Campingplatz war in der Vorsaison (Mai) noch nicht richtig sauber, der Pool voller Algen, außer Supermarkt alles geschlossen. Kein Camper Service (Schmutzwasser sollte draußen vor dem Platz in einer Wiese entleert werden ...) Da es vorher stark geregnet hatte, haben wir uns auf unserem Stellplatz festgefahren und mussten mit einem Traktor herausgezogen werden (hier super netter Service !!!), die Sanitäranlagen waren mittelmäßig, der Strand in der Nähe des Campingplatzes war leider auch noch schmutzig, insgesamt ist der Platz aber im Sommer sicher ganz nett. Für eine Übernachtung hat es uns auf der Durchreise auf jedenfall ausgereicht !!

Prima camping, sanitair eenvoudig maar schoon, receptie vriendelijk Duits, Engels sprekend.Weekend druk met Italianen en auto's her en der geparkeerd. Wij ouder stel hebben hier een fijne tijd gehad.

Very strange site, I dont know if they are in the middle of a refurbishment or not, the pool is very good but the toilets and other facilities need to be improved, very good sized pitches, but the long walk to the the toilets and bathrooms spoil this site.

Camping Rifugio del Mare is een rustige camping. Men mag niet de auto op het campingterrein hebben, wat zorgt voor rust en veiligheid. Het strand is goed te bereiken per fiets of auto. Lopen is ook mogelijk, maar je kunt niet recht oversteken en moet hierdoor een eindje omlopen. Het restaurant op de camping is zeer goed! Ook is er een mooi zwembad, waar je gratis gebruik van kunt maken. Het personeel op de camping is erg vriendelijk en probeert goed Engels te spreken. Aanrader in de omgeving is het plaatsje Volterra. Minpunt: -Sanitair lijkt verouderd en er hangen spinnenwebben in de hoeken. Bij één toiletgebouw, vrijwel alleen hang-wc's (2 gewone toiletpotten).
