Wij hebben in juni de hele maand daar gestaan. In een woord geweldig. Een prachtige camping, met een machtig mooie plaats. Zeer groot. En een mooie omgevig. Zowel om te wandelen als te fietsen. Goede verbindingen om naar de grote steden te gaan voor excursies, met de trein ernaar toe. Je stapt zo uit in het centrum.

Superb camping with excellent facilities. Large pitches separated by hedges. Excellent value in low season with ACSI discount Camping Card. Two good restaurants. 5 km outside the town and 10 km from beach. Well located to explore Tuscany. We will go there again in 2012.

We hebben 4 nachten op deze camping gestaan. De plaatsen zijn groot maar het was er vrij rumoerig. Ook nu het toch al half september was, was de camping vrij vol. Het lijkt een beetje ons kent ons. Alleen het winkelpersoneel was niet erg vriendelijk, maar bij de receptie was alles prima geregeld.
Toiletgebouw zag er nieuw en redelijk schoon uit.
Tussen half 2 en 3 uur kom je de camping niet op of af met de auto.
Voor ons was er een zoektocht om met de hond bij zee te komen omdat aan de kust alles vol staat met privestrandjes. Met hulp van de receptie en internet (wat we overigens goed konden ontvangen) hebben we toch een mooi pijnbomenbos gevonden vanwaar je aan zee komt.

Was hier de laatste week aug en eerste week sept. Na 1 sept gingen 7 douches van de 9 dicht en 8 toiletten; dus lekker wachten. Toileten werden geveegd; niet met water.
Internet moest je betalen maar was zeer slecht, erg traag, alleen maar wachten, net als de telefoon. 's Avonds erg donker in zwembad dus div keren waren ze aan het zwemmen - geen controle. Helemaal geen controle op de camping. Na 1 sept stonden we beneden helemaal alleen en dus zijn we vertrokken.
We gingen naar Elba en kregen verkeerde inlichting. Wij vonden het geen top camping.

Prima camping in prachtige omgeving nabij strand en Toscaanse cultuur. Zeker voor Italiaanse begrippen ruime, schaduwrijke standplaatsen (neem wel rotspennen mee!). Rustige en compacte camping en zeer geschikt voor kinderen tot 12 jaar. Goede, betaalbare restaurants, gesorteerde winkel, activiteiten en schoon sanitair. Deel beneden gezelliger dan boven. Aandachtspuntjes WiFi, telefoon en verlichting. Camping om naar terug te gaan, zoals velen doen.
