Prima plekken, maar vuil sanitair. Dit werd één keer per dag schoongespoten. We zijn te weinig douches voor een camping van deze grootte. In de douches is er geen plek voor een handdoek of toilettas. Wel een mooi zwembad en vriendelijk personeel.

Camping is mooi gelegen veel schaduw en grote plaatsen. Zelfs zo groot dat je geen aangewezen plek krijgt maar zelf mag uitzoeken waar je wilt gaan staan.
Zwembad is heel mooi en erg groot en dient tevens als gemeente zwembad waar veel italianen gebruik van maken. Overdag zit er een badmeester bij het zwembad.
Sanitair is redelijk en er wordt niet heel goed schoongemaakt meer schoongespoten.
Eigenaar Stefano is aardig maar heeft het te druk met het uitbaten van de restauratie van het zwembad waardoor de camping op een 2de plan komt te staan.
Ik had gereserveerd voor 14 dagen maar de kinderen gingen zich vervelen en hadden oorpijn en Stefano maakte er geen probleem van dat ik na 9 dagen naar een andere camping vertrok, zeer vriendelijk dus van hem.
Warm water douche heel lauw eerder koud en bij de wasbakken geen warm water.
Diverse voorzieningen zijn er gewoon weg niet die wel vermeld worden.
Prima camping voor een paar dagen om bv. Firenze te bekijken en omgeving te ondekken.

De camping heeft ruime plaatsen en veel schaduw. Het grote -gemeentelijke- zwembad is fijn. Wel komen er geregeld grote groepen schoolkinderen zwemmen, hetgeen onze kinderen minder gezellig vonden. Daarentegen is in het donker met badverlichting aan zwemmen erg leuk. Het sanitair is op zich best redelijk maar er werd nauwelijks schoongemaakt. In de periode dat wij er stonden, bestond het schoonmaken voornamelijk uit het om de dag schoonspuiten met de tuinslang. Een aantal genoemde voorzieningen zoals een wasmachine, tafeltennistafel en speeltoestellen hebben wij niet aangetroffen. In de directe omgeving is niet veel te ondernemen voor mensen die wat willen doen. De camping is wel een prima uitvalsbasis richting een aantal bezienswaardigheden zoals Firenze. Onze conclusie over deze camping is:het kost niet veel, maar het is ook niet veel, geschikt voor een bezoek van enkele dagen, niet voor de hele vakantie.

Geweldige, gemoedelijke camping met superlieve beheerder (Stefano). Er zijn 2 sanitairgebouwen, worden allebei een paar keer per dag goed schoongemaakt: degene bij de ingang met douche (geen muntjes!) is nieuw, die midden op de camping met alleen wc's is duidelijk minder. Het zwembad is groot (10mx30m) en goed onderhouden, in het weekend komt de plaatselijke bevolking er zwemmen wat erg gezellig is. Veel kampeerplaatsen zijn schaduwrijk. Er komen gasten van overal, zelfs Koreanen. Je zit vlakbij het dorp, waar je je boodschappen kan doen. Vlakbij zit het station, waar men de trein naar Firenze kan nemen. De pizzeria in het dorp moet je links laten liggen en naar een dorpje verder gaan nl. Dicomano. In de kelder onder de 'romantische' tl-verlichting serveren ze de heerlijkste pizza's. Voor het lekkerste ijs raden wij iedereen aan naar de ijssalon vlakbij het meer gaan. Wij komen er al 4 jaar met veel plezier. Er is geen georganiseerde animatie, maar wel regelmatig avondzwemmen en bbq.

Heerlijk ruime plaatsen, zeker voor Italiaanse begrippen! Veel schaduw en een zwembad, ideaal als de temperatuur hoog oploopt. Twee sanitairgebouwen, het oudere midden op de camping laat te wensen over .Er is hier geen warm water en bijna alleen hurktoiletten. Sanitairgebouw bij het zwembad is beter, al zijn de douches krap. Er wordt wel goed schoongemaakt. Campingbaas is erg vriendelijk. Wil je 's avonds laat nog zwemmen, geen probleem, al is het 12 uur! Er zijn weinig regeltjes, daardoor een ontspannen sfeertje. De omgeving is ook leuk, het dorpje Vicchio om 's avonds een ijsje te gaan eten en sfeer te proeven. Wij kwamen ook voor Florence, maar dan valt de afstand tegen. Er is vlak bij de camping een treinstation,voor 6 euro en na 3 kwartier sta je middenin Florence. Jammer dat de laatste trein al om 9 uur teruggaat, dan begint het juist gezellig te worden in de stad! Ook andere bestemmingen in Toscane zijn vanuit Vicchio wel wat ver rijden. Al met al, een goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding!
