To be a city camping, this one is great. Location is good, walking distance to Old Town of Riga, and Olimpia shopping center nearby. Facilities are fine, only hot water for dishes was missing. And some organisation for the laundry queue should be appreciated. Staff is really helpful. Finally a note: Some cobblestone streets in Riga is not made for Caravaning!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Riga City Campground. It is an easy walk from there into the old city of Riga where there are many excellent restaurants and museums. The facilities at the campground are clean and well maintained. The staff is helpful and very pleasant. We had interesting conversations with one of the staff, who gave us a great deal of good and interesting information about the countryside before we left on a bicycling trip, as well as a very helpful map. We enjoyed the time we spent with him. We will definitely go back. We are from the United States.

Campingplatz hat 2010 auch schon Anfang Mai offen gehabt. Sehr gute Lage für Stadtbesichtigung. Sehr freundlich und sicher.

Zeer goede stadscamping! Uitstekende douches. Loopafstand van het centrum (10 min.). Vriendelijk personeel. 24 uur per dag beveiliging.
