De inplanting van de vaste stacaravans doen wat bidonville-achtig aan. Het sanitair is verouderd (trekkers gedeelte). Bij het gras maaien wordt het gras niet geruimd wat bij nat weer vervuilend is.

Wij hebben ons uitstekend vermaakt en wachttijden bij de douche, hebben wij niet meegemaakt. Camping ligt leuk a/d rivier, leuk spelen met de boot cq luchtbed. Ook leuk voor de kleine vissers. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Ps het eten in de bistro is perfect!

Het sanitair in het eerste gedeelte van de camping is wat verouderd maar vooral ontoereikend vandaar een 5.Op zijn website kondigt de camping zich aan als gastvriendelijk. Dit moet enigzins genuanceerd worden. De ontvangst is eerder koel en zakelijk. Terwijl bij wijlen een vleugje arrogantie niet vreemd is aan het personeel.Vandaar een 6 voor personeel. Kampeerplaats en Accommodatie men is eerder ver verwijderd van electriciteit- en wateraftakpunten, bovendien is het waterdebiet nogal flauw. Sportfaciliteiten, afgezien van twee krammiekige goals en volleybal neeten is er niets. Eten en vooral voor drinken is er ruime keuze. De gerechten mogen er zijn, minpunt is dat men 's middags niet kan lunchen.

In het campinggedeelte voor de brug zijn er +- 80 plaatsen of een potentieel van 240 campeerders waar enkel 4 douches en 8 toiletten beschikbaar zijn. Dit resulteert in lange wachtrijen in het hoogseizoen. Voor het overige ligt de camping in een uitzonderlijk mooi natuurgebied.

Kautenbach is een prachtige omgeving en een wandelparadijs ! De camping ligt in deze wel zeer rustige sprookjesachtige omgeving.
