Fantastische camping voor als je wilt relaxen en genieten van de natuur en lekker eten. We zijn nu in de afgelopen 6 jaar voor de 3e keer op de Kohnenhof geweest en vinden dit toch wel de mooiste camping van Luxemburg. Deze keer waren we in de Meiweek en ook nu hebben we met de kinderen weer enorm genoten van de rivier, de rust en de vele ruimte die deze camping biedt. Wat ons op valt is dat het personeel altijd zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam is, zowel in de bediening van het restaurant als op de receptie en het terrein. Vorige keer zaten we in een zeer luxe stacaravan, maar deze keer hadden we de tent van zolder gehaald en ook dat is prima bevallen. Het is een echte aanrader en ze zien ons daar ook zeker terug.

Besonderer Platz in einzigartiger Umgebung. Hervorragend geeignet für Familien- aber auch größere Gruppenreisen. Sehr nettes Personal, schon fast familieres Flair. Einziger Nachteil - ich habe zu wenig Urlaub.

Mooie camping als uitvalsbasis voor ontdekking van de pitoreske stadjes in de omgeving (Vianden - Diekirch - Clerveaux) en de natuur van de Vallei van de Our. Er zijn uitgestippelde pistes voor liefhebbers van Nordic Walking. Wij stonden er eind november 2008 als enige gasten. Het personeel was zeer hulpvaardig: 's morgens was het pleintje voor onze caravan en het pad van onze caravan naar het sanitair zelfs sneeuwvrij gemaakt.

Op basis van de eerdere beschrijvingen hadden wij hoge verwachtingen van deze camping. Op een aantal punten vonden wij het echter wat teleurstellend. De pluspunten van deze camping zijn de ruime plaatsen, gemoedelijke sfeer, de grote hoeveelheid kinderen. Ook is de omgeving prachtig en is het 's avonds heerlijk rustig.

Jammer genoeg zijn er ook enkele minpunten. Zo is het sanitair te beperkt en er is vaak geen warm water. Wij vinden dit echt niet meer kunnen in deze tijd. Het animatieteam is goed voor kinderen tot 7 jaar. Het team bestaat uit vriendelijke dames, maar draaien wel vaak hetzelfde programma af. De camping is ook ver weg van alle winkels, attracties en steden. Dit betekent veel in de auto of veel op de camping.

Dit is een echte "Nederlandse" camping en hier moet je van houden. Onze plek was echt te ver weg van het sanitairgebouw. Dit is goed voor de conditie, maar verder dan plek 75 moet je niet staan. Bij slechts weer zijn er voor de kinderen bijna geen mogelijkheden, omdat alles buiten is. Wij vinden deze camping echt geschikt voor kinderen tot 9 jaar. Voor pubers is er echt niets te beleven.

Leuke rustige familiecamping. Er zou wel wat meer sanitair mogen zijn. Maar schoon was het zeker. Voor de kinderen leuke activiteiten en het water is geweldig, niet alleen vaders en kinderen vissen, maar moeders ook! En een hele mooie omgeving!!!
