De camping ligt aan de rand van het Dwingelderveld. De camping is prima bewegwijzerd en goed aan te rijden. Ontvangst heel vriendelijk. Bij de receptie werd zelfs gevraagd of we hulp nodig hadden bij het wegzetten van de caravan. De camping is parkachtig met veldjes (sommige autovrij). Voorzieningen zijn prima (wifi, kampwinkel, kerk, hoftuinen, dierenweide en een snackbar). Het sanitair is prachtig en schoon.
Vanaf de camping kun je goed wandelen en fietsen. Ook hier liggen de fietsknooppunten in de achtertuin.
In de directe omgeving zijn veel bezienswaardigheden zoals: de hunebedden, het planetron, Orvelte, Westerbork, Diever en de schaapskudde op de Dwingelose heide.

Dit is een zeer goede camping, met prachtige plaatsen. Een heel mooi en zeer schoon sanitair. Echt opgenomen met de natuur. zeer schoon. Een hele mooie en leuke vakantie gehad. Komen beslist terug. Vanaf de camping loop en fiets je zo de natuur in geweldig.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Uitmuntende sanitaire voorzieningen en ruime plaatsen. Mooie wandelroutes vanaf en in de nabijheid van de camping. Goede voorzieningen voor de hond, waaronder een douchegelegenheid voor honden.

Prima camping met toiletgebouw op hotelniveau! Ruime plaatsen met keurig onderhouden grasmat. Leuke speelvoorzieningen voor kinderen tot ca. 10 jaar. Aanrader voor rustzoekers.

Mooie verzorgde camping goede ligging, ruime plaatsen met beschutting rustige omgeving met veel fiets routes in nabijheid van Dwingeloo.
