Met veel genoegens denken wij terug aan de vijfweekse vakantie op camping Waterhout.
Mooie plaatsen en veel zon (indien aanwezig).
Vriendelijke mensen en een prachtige omgeving, vijf weken gefietst en nog alles niet gezien. En zo heerlijk zwemmen in het Weerwater. Geweldig.

Zeer onvriendelijke gastvrouw/eigenaresse, vooral tegen kinderen. Nooit meer!
De omgeving is wel mooi, veel te doen. Op de camping is niets te doen. Sanitair is uit 1970.

Mit fem Fahrrad in ein paar Minuten im Zentrum von Almere. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Stellplätze mit gepflegtem Rasen. Sehr empfehlenswerter Campingplatz.

Ruim van tevoren gereserveerd, maar werden niet gewaarschuwd dat sanitair ver onder de maat was vanwege nieuwbouw. Dat gaf ons toch wel irritatie.
Commercieel gezien zou het goed zijn klanten tegemoet te komen met een kleine geste. Al is het maar een gratis kopje koffie met excuses voor de 2 (!) toiletten, 2 (!) fonteintjes en 2 (!) douches voor de hele camping. Ronduit vies en stinkend.
Het nieuwe sanitair belooft heel mooi te worden. Dan willen we het graag nog eens proberen op deze camping te verblijven.
Het terrein was mooi schoon, onze plek aan het water idyllisch.
En de ijsjes die geserveerd werden, waren een droom.

Mooie camping, vriendelijke eigenaars en personeel. Nieuw sanitair gebouw is nog niet helemaal af, maar het ziet er prachtig uit. Gratis douchen en warm water. Geen container meer zoals op vele campings. Het centrum is per fiets en bus gemakkelijk te bereiken. Zeker een aanrader.
