In september 2009 hebben een week op de camping gestaan. We hadden een Biod weekend. Er kwamen ongeveer 80 Biod Caravans. Dat was bekend bij de leiding. Dus 175 personen. Maar helaas, 2 douches en 4 toiletten voor de dames en 2 Douches en 4 toiletten voor de heren. Er waren 2 warmwater kranen voor de afwas. Veel te lang gras en ook de stroomvoorziening was veel te weinig. Hopelijk volgend jaar beter want dan komen we weer. Het Biod weekend was zeer geslaagd. Daar lag het niet aan.

We waren hier een weekje in september met de Biod club. Er kwamen 80 caravans, hadden een apart veld. Slechts 2 douches en 4 toiletten voor ongeveer 175 mensen. En het personeel wist dat er zoveel kwamen.
Ook het elektra was heel slecht geregeld; wel 20 of 30 meter met je snoer lopen. Hopelijk is dat volgend jaar beter, want dan komen we weer. Het gras mag ook wel korter worden gemaaid.

Echt een topcamping voor surfers! Wij zaten net na de zomervakantie op het mooiste plekkie van de camping, met vol uitzicht op het meer, met s avonds de meest prachtige zonsondergang! Vanuit de voortent zo het water in. Voor de niet-surfers was het wat saai. Buiten de vakantie kennelijk geen winkel open, geen restaurant of snackbar open,nergens iets te krijgen. Je zit ook niet bepaald om de hoek van een dorp oid dus hou hier rekening mee. In de vakantie is er wel van alles (campingwinkeltje, restaurant) open. Sanitair netjes en schoon. Fijne camping voor mensen die niet van massatoerisme houden.

Helaas niet geschikt om gewoon te zwemmer, maar voor beginnende watersporters is het hier optimaal. Ook heeft de camping een ideale ligging voor fietstouren in de omgeving.

Ein toller Platz für Surfer wegen der unmittelbaren Lage am Wasser und des Super-Surfreviers Veluwemeer. Leider etwas von den nächsten Ortschaften abgelegen.
