Deze camping bezoeken wij vaak in het voorseizoen in de maand juni. De omgeving is gewoon heel mooi, fijne fietstochten kun je er maken en mooie wandelingen. Inderdaad heeft de camping wat onderhoud nodig wat sanitair betreft. De voorzieningen zijn niet toereikend voor zo'n grote camping. Zeker niet lijkt mij in het hoogseizoen. Jammer ook dat de toeristische plaatsen bij de seizoeners worden gezet, waardoor er op de velden veel caravans staan zonder bezetting. Maar met Epe en de bossen in de buurt is het hier heel goed toeven.

Het is een leuke en mooie camping. sanitair mag wel wat onderhoud krijgen vooral bij de afwasplaatsen. Lekkende zwanenhalzen, ontbrekende kraanknop etc. zwembad is wel erg klein voor zo een grote camping. Bovendien is het een zwembad voor kinderen tot ca. 8 jaar. Voor oudere kinderen mag er wel een ander bad komen. Ook entertainment voor kinderen vanaf 14 jaar mag wel wat meer zijn en ook voor volwassenen kan er best wat bij. Jammer dat er zoveel stacaravans en huisjes de camping in beslag nemen. Het oprijpad bij de eikenwal en het pad ervoor naar de campingplaatsen op het sparrenveld mag wel wat meer grind krijgen er zijn daar behoorlijke diepe kuilen, wat slecht is voor de caravan bij aankomst en vertrek.

Het personeel restaurant was erg gezellig hun het eten was lekker en goed betaalbaar het waren goedkope producten maar het werd op een leuke manier voorgeschoteld.
