Heerlijke eigenaars, die ook openstaan voor een babbel. Ge wordt er gewoon vrijgelaten. Wij stonden in de boomgaard, bij de douches, bij het water en met een prachtig uitzicht op het vissersdorpje aan de overkant. Heel mooie wandelingen en fietstochten kan men er maken. Ik denk dat ze ons daar nog terugzien. Tot ziens, beste mensen, doei.

De camping ligt op een soort langgerekte landtong tussen water, dus niet voor hele kleine kinderen. Wel voor ouderen, die rust en ruimte zoeken. Je kunt erg leuk in een druivenkas zitten, wanneer het weer minder is. Geen bemoeienis, vrijheid en schoon sanitair. Leuke uitstapjes naar Pieterburen, of via Lauersoog dagje naar Schiermonnikoog. Ook kun je naar de theefabriek in Houwerzijl (ook terras) of naar de mosterdfabriek (Marne) in Eenrum (ook restaurant). Daar is ook een kaarsenmakerij en een pannenkoekrestaurant. In Zoutkamp kun je heerlijke vis eten (kopen) bij de Palingrokerij. Genoeg leuke uitstapje in de omgeving met de auto of op de fiets te doen. Groningen en Dokkum zijn grotere plaatsen in de omgeving. In Groningen kun je een rondvaart maken of naar het museum. Dokkum is een oud stadje met een leuk centrum (Friesland). Wie van water houdt en van bootjes en een waterrijke omgeving raad ik aan om eens naar deze omgeving te gaan.
