Arrived at the site on Saturday evening of bank holiday weekend without a booking due to problems at another site. Fortunately the staff were not at all phased by our unannounced arrival and soon found us an excellent and flat pitch for our VW Camper. Despite restaurant approaching closing time, James (chef) recommended a fish platter which was excellent and very good value.
Stayed at the site for 5 nights and found it to be first class in every respect and ideally located for touring the area via local transport, walking and cycling.
Would highly recommend this site to anyone especially those with children as it provides for their every need.

Wij hebben dit jaar een voorseizoensplaats gehad op de Somerense Vennen. Het is ons heel goed bevallen.
Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de sanitaire voorzieningen worden heel goed bijgehouden. Ook de annimatie van kinderkampeerwereld is geweldig. Onze zoon heeft er enorm van genoten.
Wat ook prettig is, is dat de camping overzichtelijk en rustig is, wat erg fijn is met kleine kinderen.
Kortom echt een aanrader!

Zeer vriendelijke medewerksters aan de receptie; ruime keuzemogelijkheid uit zeer royale plaatsen. Sanitair voldoende en goed onderhouden. Veel mogelijkheden voor kleine kinderen, inclusief overdekt zwembad en speeltuin. Veel fiets- en wandelroutes vanaf de camping. Gratis Wifi. Aanrader ook als camping op heen- terugreis naar Belgie/Frankrijk. Ca 3 km van dorpskernen Someren en Lierop. Kortom een aanrader.

23-06-2010 Wij twee 50+ hebben hier een week op deze camping gestaan.
Het weer was niet geweldig maar de camping wel. Een heerlijk zwembad waar je de hele dag gebruik van kon maken. Gratis internet dat was heerlijk, zo konden we ook met het thuisfront in contact blijven.
De plaats mocht je zelf uitzoeken en bij een mooie sanitair unit (die heel goed werd gepoetst, paar maal per dag) was het heel goed toeven.
Deze camping is voor herhaling vatbaar.
Geweldig ga zo door!!!!

Op 8 mei (moederdag) 2011 gingen we met ons tweetjes voor een week naar de Somerense Vennen.
We konden kiezen uit ongeveer 10 plaatsen.
We kozen voor een zonnige comfortplaats ACSI-korting, vlak bij het toiletgebouw. Superplaats 120 m2 met water, afvoer en CAI voor 15 euro per nacht. Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst. Toiletgebouw nieuw en supermooi en schoon (3x per dag gepoetst). Mooie omgeving om te fietsen en te wandelen. Mooie overdekte speeltuin en zwembad (was helaas nog niet open). Het restaurant en cafetaria was in deze periode alleen op woensdag en het weekend open. Een aanrader. Goed aan de weg getimmerd de laatste 4 jaar en grootse plannen voor de komende 4 jaar. Ga zo door.
