Mooie camping met royale plaatsen aan de oevers van de Vecht. Helaas is deze camping en haar personeel echter minder toegerust voor mindervaliden, in ons reisgezelschap waren een tweetal mensen die zijn aangewezen op een scootmobiel vanwege een beperkte loopfunctie. Zowel het sanitair alsmede de flexibiliteit van het personeel laten te wensen over om met een handicap te spreken van een geweldige vakantie. Op vragen om een tijdelijke stallingplek voor de scootmobielen, tijdens bijvoorbeeld autoritten werd moeilijk gereageerd en werd zeker niet de indruk gewekt dat men hierin wilde meedenken. Een dag voor vertrek toestemming krijgen om alvast met een auto de, in het hoogseizoen autovrije camping (prima en vooraf bij ons bekend!!), op te gaan om scootmobielen in te laden werd botweg geweigerd omdat het nog niet de vertrekdag was... Helaas een gemiste kans voor een camping die ook zeker voor mindervaliden aantrekkelijk kan zijn als men daar iets meer aandacht besteed!

Bijna alles perfect, op sanitair na.
3 dagen bleef de poep op muren en toiletbrillen zitten, zelfs na 3 keer klagen werd het niet beter. We zijn ook ziek geworden, diaree en overgeven 4 pers. in 2 wk. wie weet?

De camping kent zeer ruime kampeerplaatsen, voor het grootste gedeelte voorzien van elektische aansluiting. Het saniair is ondergebracht in verschillende gebouwen en ziet er perfect uit. Ook het schoonmaken gebeurt regelmatig en goed. Voor het douchen behoeft niet betaald te worden; via een electronisch systeem wordt de watertoevoer na 5 minuten uitgeschakeld. Dit is echter ruim voldoende voor een volledige douchebeurt.

Voor de kinderen zijn er diverse speelplaatsen met aantrekkelijke toestellen. De zwemgelegenheid is afgebakend in een zijtak van de Vecht; de diepte van deze plek is ook voor kleinere kinderen geschikt.
Vanuit de camping zijn diverse leuke en interessante fietstochten te maken.

Fantastisch gelegen fijne camping voor de echte kampeerder! De kinderen hebben de hele dag door 'animatie' in de vorm van speeltuintjes, zand, vliegerveld en ander avontuur. Heel geschikt voor gezinnen met kinderen onder de 12 jaar. Heel harmonieuze sfeer.
