Allein schon die Fahrt nach Berlevag durch wilde Natur ist ein grandioses Erlebnis. Am Zielort selbst findet man ein sehr schönes blauen Holzhaus, in dem sämliche Einrichtungen des CP untergebracht sind: Empfang (freundlicher Schweizer Besitzer), gemütlicher Aufenthaltsraum mit kleiner Bibliothek und TV, Informationtafel mit Infomaterial, komplette Küche, komfortables Sanitär, alles penibel gepflegt und supersauber. Man kann auch Zimmer mieten. Stellplätze am Haus auf einer Wiese mit Stromanschlüssen. Ideal gelegen zwischen der Ortsmitte und dem Hafen mit der Anlegestelle der Hurtigruten-Schiffe. Preise auf landesüblichem Niveau, aber hier stimmt voll und ganz die Qualität (was nicht für alle CP in Nord-Norwegen zutrifft).

Ontzettend vriendelijke campingeigenaar. Sanitair ziet er perfect uit. Alles is tot in de puntjes verzorgd.
Bezoek aan het het havenmuseum is een aanrader.
