Wij vonden de camping erg druk. De campers stonden dicht naast elkaar, voor een camping tenminste. Wel ideaal om de mooie stad Oslo op de fiets te bezoeken. Prachtig havengebied en erg fietsvriendelijke stad. En, je mag tot 14:00 uur de camping nog verlaten.

Het gebruik van elektriciteit is niet toegestaan voor tenten. "Voorschrift van de brandweer", volgens een medewerkster van de balie. Alsof gas en benzine niet brandgevaarlijk is! Gevolg van het ontbreken van elektriciteit is dat we de inhoud van de koelkast de volgende dag konden weggooien! Ik begrijp best dat het de mensen op de camping zelf zijn die er voor zorgen dat het een vieze bende op het toilet en in de douche is. Echter je kunt ook tussentijds iets aan de schoonmaak doen in plaats van één keer in de 24.00 uur. Neem een voorbeeld aan zuidelijke landen. Vier afwas plaatsen voor een camping van deze omvang is wel erg matig, met als gevolg rijen wachtende mensen. Het is verboden om mobiele telefoons op te laden, maar wat moet je als je geen electriciteit in mag kopen omdat je tentkampeerder bent, stiekem opladen dus. Betonnen paden naar toiletten en bij de hoofdingang zit vol gaten. Dus uitkijken bij avond, want het is juist op deze plekken erg donker....als doortrekcamping prima.

Camping was ons te duur, geen hek erom heen maar wel bewaking. Sanitair niet in verhouding tot de prijs.
Leuk om Oslo te doen. Bus naast de ingang.

Leuke camping als je Oslo wilt bezoeken en toch niet wilt camperen in een hele drukke omgeving. Prachtig uitzicht, vooral 's avonds als Oslo verlicht is. Je kijkt over de hele stad uit. Goed openbaar vervoer vanaf de camping.

Het regende en stormde tijdens onze kampeerdagen in Oslo. De camping is daar niet op berekend. Veel rugzakkers met kleine tentjes konden niet schuilen voor de regen. Het is vrij simpel om een soort van veranda te maken, daar een paar picknickbanken neer te zetten zodat zij daar droog kunnen zitten. Nu zat en stond iedereen in de ruimte waar de droogtrommels stonden en in de ruimte waar gekookt werd.
