Zeer goede uitvalbasis voor bijv. bezoek Prekestolen. Prachtig uitzicht over de fjord en bij helder weer is in de verte Stavanger te zien.

Niet al te grote camping, vlak langs de weg. Van die weg heb je niet veel last. Het sanitair is simpel, maar voldoet. Stroompunten zijn er niet veel, je hebt vaak een wat langere kabel nodig. Maar de ligging van de camping is echt geweldig! Je hebt prachtig uitzicht over de baai met Stavanger in de verte. Er is heel goed Wifi, maar je moet er wel voor betalen. Wel een redelijk bedrag overigens. Verder liggen er bootjes die je gewoon mag pakken, we hebben enorm veel makrelen gevangen! In Jorpaland, 3 km verder, zijn supermarkten. De omgeving is natuurlijk ook erg leuk. Vanaf Tau gaat een ferry naar Stavanger. En natuurlijk is de Preikestolen vlakbij!

Mooi gelegen camping aan het fjord. Even zoeken voor een vlakke plaats op het gras. Goede voorzieningen, vriendelijke behulpzame beheerders. Ligt aan de 13, enige geluidslast 's morgens. Van hieruit de Preikestolen, Stavanger goed te bereiken. Wifi tegen betaling.

In 2007 de camping bezocht. Het vissen op makreel is er leuk. Dat kan bij een windstille momenten vanaf de kant. Eigenaar en personeel zeer vriendelijk. Goede uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Stavanger. Met de snelle veerboot is echt een aanrader, met de langzame boot een trage tocht.
