Prima camping met uitzicht op het Oldevatnet, maar wél gelegen aan doorgaande weg naar de Briksdalsbreen! Als je een plekje aan het meer kunt bemachtigen heb je van die weg geen last.
Sta je dichter bij de weg, dan even opgemerkt dat het het meeste verkeer 's ochtends langskomt (náár de Breen) en aan eind de middag (terugreizigers).
Wij hebben even in het meer gezwommen, maar vergis u niet: het is circa 8 graden!
Sanitair is trouwens netjes.
Leuke camping voor een dag of drie.

Kleine gezellige camping. Prachtig gelegen aan het Oldenvatn met uitzicht op de Melkevoll breen. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzame beheerder. Zeer schone toiletten. Free Wifi.

Ein vorbildlich sauberer und mit Liebe gestalteter Platz mit einer tollen Aussicht zu einem vernünftigen Preis.
Sehr ansprechnender Sanitärsbereich und eine ornungsgemäße Stromversorgung. Wir haben uns dort sehr Wohl gefühlt.

Seit 17 Jahren fahren wir fast jedes Jahr zum Oldencamping Gytri. Damals hieß dieser Platz noch "Gytri Camping". Es wäre schön, wenn er bald wieder so heißt, denn es ist doch die Familie Gytri die diesen Platz so liebevoll gestaltet hat und es ist die Familie Gytri die jeden Gast, egal welcher Nationalität, freundlich und herzlich begrüßt. Die Sauberkeit auf diesem Platz ist hervorragend. Die Hütten sind klein aber sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und super gut ausgestattet. Ein guter Ausgangslatz für Tagestouren.
