On the N268 from Vila do Bispo (9 km) to Sagres. In Sagres drive towards Cabo S. Vincente and follow the sign. After approx. 1 km the camp site is on the right of the road. Follow the signs.

Heel mooie en rustige, bosrijke camping. In juni schaars bezocht. In onze periode (juni 2009) zeer winderig. Héél vriendelijk personeel, zowel aan receptie als in bar/restaurant. Wifi aanwezig bij bar. In de omgeving is de Algarve op zijn mooist. Een absolute aanrader voor liefhebbers van rust en natuur.

Leuke camping in bosrijke omgeving. Het meest Zuidwestelijke punt van het Europese vasteland is vlakbij. Bovendien een oud Moors fort in de buurt. Camping is gemoedelijk; biedt veel rust en ruimte. Kamperen in het bos. Alles wat er moet zijn, is er ook, maar het blijft een beetje minimalistisch. Voor de prijs een prima camping.

Genoten van een verblijf van 10 dagen buitengewoon vriendelijk personeel een heel fijne beperkte supermarkt en een heel goed restaurant met buitengewoon vriendelijke mensen.Toiletgebouwen werden vrijwel constant schoon gehouden.

Wij zijn op een rondrit door Spanje en Portugal op deze camping beland met de bedoeling om er enige dagen te blijven en dan door te trekken. Uiteindelijk zijn we ruim twee weken gebleven (langste tijd op een camping gedurende de rondreis). De camping is een mooie uitvalbasis voor de omgeving (met auto en voor de geoefende fietser). De mooie stranden zijn makkelijk bereikbaar en waren tijdens onze vakantie zeker niet druk, voornamelijk oudere Engelse. De camping zelf is goed onderhouden met zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Het zwembad is prima, misschien in een drukke periode wat weinig ligweide. Het restaurant was erg eenvoedig doch goed, zelfs voor mijn vrouw die coeliaki patient is (geen graan- en lactose producten) werden aparte gerechten gemaakt waarmee ze geen problemen heeft gehad. Voor ons twee zeker een plaats om nog eens terug te komen.

It was rather wet and muddy when we arrived and the toilets facilties definately need updating. The scenery surrounding the high cliffs were outstanding but you needed transport of some sort as the site was isolated from the village and tourist spots.
