Na drie 1/2 jaar terug op deze camping en weer een uitstekende ervaring voor ons. De marmerexcursie met Ernst (de eigenaar) zeer de moeite waard en het eten buiten aan de stamtafel was weer prima verzorgd door Irene (de campingeigenaresse). In de buurt is schitterend aardewerk te koop in Sao Pedro do Corval.

De op één na mooiste camping van Portugal die door Nederlanders wordt geëxploiteerd. Alleen het gastheerschap is hier vrijblijvender. De toegangsweg, die overigens heel duidelijk wordt aangegeven vanuit Rosário, lijkt minder toegankelijk dan hij is.
Voor kampeerders met kleine kinderen is deze camping misschien minder geschikt hoewel hier de creativiteit van de kinderen door een "gebrek" aan andere prikkels, zoals b.v. een speeltuin, zeker tot hun recht zullen komen.
Wij vonden op deze camping veel gelijkgestemden en dat betekend voor rust en cultuurzoekers en vooral voor tentkampeerders absoluut een aanbeveling!

De ontvangst was zeer prettig, de eigenaars doen er alles aan om je er thuis te voelen, mooie ligging uitzicht op stuwmeer. Leuke uitstapjes gemaakt, onder andere marmergroeve. Genoten van heerlijke maaltijden, die 3 maal per week door verzorgd worden. Helemaal Top!

Onze eerste camping in Portugal was meteen de prettigste van de hele vakantie. Uitermate behulpzame eigenaren waardoor je je meer gast voelde dan kampeerder. Veel tips over de omgeving, waardoor we dat deel van de ten onrechte onderschatte Alentejo goed hebben leren kennen. We zullen er zeker terugkomen.
