All possible defects are covered by the kindness, helpful owners of the camp. a place where people are comfortable clothes. More than an interesting way of decorating the camp.

Last summer we were here (summer 2010 and summer 2009) with my family & my friends.
It's the best place for person who (needs) looking peace and mountains, or river and creek.
Few sights of the neighbour and approximate distance:
-the Cistercian monastery of Carta -1Km
-creek -50 m
-barrage /Olt river -3 Km
-Balea Lake(Transfagarasan)-.38 Km
-Sibiu -40-42 Km
-Sighisoara -95 km
-Brasov -100km
... definitely worth a visit

A little gem of a campsite, peacefully located behind the owners' house. In walking distance of the village of Carta, with basic shop and train into Sibiu. Excellent 3-course meals cooked for you by the owners in their home, by appointment. Our favourite site in Romania.

Mooie boomgaardcamping, vriendelijke Nederlands sprekende eigenaren. Net sanitair, slechte weersvoorziening. Barbecueplaats. Veel schaduwplekken, uitzicht op hooggebergte vanaf hoogvlakte. Authentiek Roemeens dorp met veel beesten op de onverharde straten (ganzen, koeien, paarden, honden, varkens). Winkeltje en Roemeens terrasje dichtbij.

Heel fijne camping. Voldoet aan de Nederlandse maatstaven. Straalt gezelligheid uit. Heerlijke ruime plaatsen. Prima sanitair. Eigenaar kookt desgewenst een zeer goede maaltijd. Eigenaresse was me zeer behulpzaam bij het vinden van een goed laboratorium voor bloedonderzoek. Fagarasgebergte met schitterende bergwandelmogelijkheden ligt zeer nabij. Daarnaast vele andere bezienswaardigheden, zoals Sibiu, Sighisoara, weerkerken enzovoort. Camping ligt midden in een zigeunerwijkje. Dat kostte me een pakje shag. Binnenhalen vee is 's avonds geweldig om te zien. Camping om terug te komen.
