Je leest hier soms dat het niet proper is... Niets van gemerkt, douches en toiletten zijn schoon, netjes. Grote kracht van de camping is het erbijbehorend super-zwembadcomplex (Terme Ptuj). je betaalt dasarvoor 5 euro pp per dag, maar dat is het zeker waard: 10 glijbanen, in allerlei variaties, golfslagbad, twee 100 meter baden, 3 whirlpools (formaat huiskamer), gratis sauna's, echt ongelofelijk. Watertemp minstens 33 graden. Wifi-internet gratis (je lift mee op het erbij behorende hotel). Kortom, vergeet alle negatieve reacties. Als je van zwemmen, sauna's enz. enz. houdt, ziet je hier perfekt. Pro

Pros: location, beautiful sorroundings (Ptuj is a very pleasant city); discount at thermal bath nearby. Very good bakery inside the camp.
Cons: toilet facilities dirty and unsufficient, very few showers. There is no security surveillance at night and we had problems with drunk people who kept all the area awake. Cars should not be parked inside the campsite, pitches are not delimited and this makes too much crowd in the camp.

De prijs van camping is volledig gebaseerd op de aanwezigheid van zwembaden, terwijl het buitenbad aanvankelijk helemaal dicht was tijdens onze aanwezigheid (juli!) en vervolgens slechts 1 van de 3 glijbanen in gebruik was, ook midgetgolfbaan was gesloten. Toen we dit meldden bij receptie werd er alleen maar gereageerd met dat dit afhankelijk was van het weer.
nou, de prijs dus niet!!!!
Sanitair op oog redelijk schoon, maar het stonk verschrikkelijk en heb personeelslid slechts met een spuitbus en doekje de glazen deur zien schoonmaken.
Voor zo'n prijzige camping zou een klein winkeltje ook wel handig zijn. er was wel dagelijks vers brood te verkrijgen.

Camping is simpel maar netjes en het sanitair is redelijk tot goed. Vrije plaatskeuze wat altijd prettig is. Prijs-kwaliteit is wat minder omdat het overigens prima zwemcomplex erbij inbegrepen zit. Wij reizen met de twee "opa's" die aan een snelle duik bij warm weer meer dan genoeg hebben, dus niet echt nodig om daar elke dag een dagkaart voor te moeten betalen. Elke morgen staat er een bakker met lekker vers brood bij de ingang in het stalletje. De rechterkant van de camping is wat schaduwrijker en bij de receptie kun je internetten. De omgeving is wat saai als je van bergen en bossen houdt zoals wij, maar dat is subjectief natuurlijk :)

Camping stelt niet zoveel voor, maar wordt vooral als doortrekcamping naar Kroatië gebruikt.
Het zwemparadijs is super! En daarom welkom na een lange reis.
De stad Ptuj is mooi en betaalbaar.
Wij maken ook juli 2010 weer een tussenstop op deze camping.
