Route:

6 km south of Plasencia, exit EX108 Navalmoral. After 5 km exit EX208 towards Trujillo. After 4 km drive under the small viaduct. Site is located on the left directly after the viaduct. From Madrid EX-A1 exit 46, roundabout 3/4 round, follow signs of Nat. Park of Monfragüe.

Prima camping, vlakbij schitterend natuurpark. Er worden foto safari tochten naar het natuurpark georganiseerd. Veel vogels. Ooievaarsnest bij de ingang. Wifi gratis.

Prima camping, rustiek gelegen bij fantastisch natuurgebied. Aan de douches mankeert vaak iets (technisch), dit is gebruikelijk is in Spanje. Ober in het restaurant was niet vriendelijk, verder vriendelijk personeel.

Camping ligt in een natuurpark, waar zich o.a. veel gieren ophouden. Vooral in mei zijn ze te bewonderen wanneer ze broeden. Er worden ook excursies georganiseerd. Tijdens feestdagen komen hier veel families met kinderen uit Madrid en omgeving en kan het er tamelijk vol worden. Is echter niet storend. Op de receptie wordt Engels gesproken en tijdens ons laatste bezoek (1 en 2 mei 2008) was er ook een Belgische dame werkzaam. Het sanitair wordt goed onderhouden. Camping ligt gunstig op de route naar Portugal. Recentelijk is een groot stuk nieuwe snelweg geopend.
