Génial pour visiter Madrid qui est une superbe ville ! Le Nouvel An sur la Puerta del sol, une ambiance formidable. Le personnel du camping est très sympathique. A conseiller fortement !

This site is ideal for visiting Madrid. To update what the ACSI guide says we found that driving to COLONIA JARDIN station on the metro was the easiest way into Madrid. We had 7 days in the city. The station is about 10 mins drive and the Metro journey about 15 mins. Lookout for the “10 journey” Metro tickets at less than one euro per journey in the city centre. The site was VERY helpful with all aspects of our stay and apart from a couple of days with tepid water in the showers (soon fixed) the facilities were good. We didn’t use the bar/restaurant because, unlike the site office the welcome was poor.

Clientéle quasi espagnole résidant a l'année.

Very good campsite & excellent value using the ACSI camping card. Toilet facilities clean with plenty of hot water. The staff in reception all spoke very good English & were very helpful. Nicely located for visiting the Valley of the fallen (vaille de caidos) al El Escorial & the Roman aquaduct at Segovia (both a must). Unfortunately it was rather hot for the time of year & we decided against visiting Madrid & Toledo as we had 2 small dogs which were suffering from the heat. The only downside with the campsite was that the plots for caravans, tents & motor homes were right at the far end of the site & about 100 metres from the shower blocks etc. But work was in progress in building what looked like individual shower/toilet facilities in this area & will probably be up & running next year. We Would definately stay here again.
