On E45, 20 km north of Ostersund and a good alternative to the busy city-centre site there. Lake swimming and canoe hire in summer. Free WiFi throughout campsite. Good facilities.

Sanitaire voorzieningen waren zeer schoon. Camping is uitermate gechikt als onderbreking van de reis voor 1 of meerdere dagen.

De camping ligt op de doorgaande route Indlandsvägen E45 ten noorden van het leuke stadje Östersund. De camping is eigenlijk niet meer dan een paar velden bij wat lokale sportbanen. Douches zijn gelijk aan wat je bij een sportveld kan verwachten: gezamelijk plus 1 aparte gelegenheid. Goede bereikbaarheid, maar tot laat in de avond hoor je deels verkeerslawaai.

De omgeving is mooi. Veel lange wegwerken in noordelijke richting in Lapland. Dit betekent vaak 40 kilometer rijden. Camping is niet aan te bevelen voor langere vakanties maar wel goed voor 1 tot 3 overnachtingen.

Helaas zijn er in de buurt van Östersund steeds meer campings die niet echt aan te bevelen zijn. Na een echt slapeloze nacht en andere slechte ervaringen op andere campings in de buurt zijn we naar deze camping uitgeweken. Dit was gewoon een redelijke camping enn goed te doen voor een aantal nachten. Toch gaan we volgend jaar weer op zoek naar een alternatief.

Wij hebben het niet als fijne camping ervaren. Hoop herrie van verkeer. Hadden op dat moment niet de beschikking van douche, maar dat is op de prijs in mindering gebracht.
