Der Camp liegt hinter dem Bahnhof von Täsch. Die Zufahrt ist für große Womos etwas schwierig. Der Camp liegt sehr gut mit Blick auf die schneebedeckten Berge. Die unmittelbar grenzende Bahn stört nicht. Sie wird zwischen 24 und 06 Uhr nicht befahren. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr sauber. Warmduschen ist inklusive, man muss allerdings ständig Drücken, weil die Wassermenge portioniert ist. Der Betreiber ist unfreundlich, insbesondere wenn man seine Gästekarte für 75 Sfr. nicht kauft. Mit der Gästekarte kann man verschiedene Bahnen gratis nutzen. Wenn man länger bleibt ist das vielleicht sogar günstig.
Es gibt einen Wanderweg nach Zermatt, der direkt am Camp beginnt. Man läuft etwa 1,2 h. Der Weg ist schlecht, geht an einer Kiesgrube vorbei und mündet in Zermatt in eine Großbaustelle. Es fahren aber auch Taxen hin und zurück. In Zermatt befinden die sich etwa 200 m unter dem Bahnhof rechts. Preis sollte man ruhig verhandeln. Wir zahlten 6 SFr für eine Fahrt/Pers. Es gibt 2 Camps in Täsch.

Der Campingplatz liegt an der Bahnlinie nach Zermatt, was aber nicht weiter stört. Trotzdem ein schöner Campingplatz - ist der einzige in Täsch. Leider sind die Übernachtungspreise, wie in der gesamten Schweiz, sehr teuer. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Leider muß man stets den Zug benutzen, wenn man nach Zermatt möchte (außer man wandert). Bahnhof 5 Min. vom Campingplatz entfernt. Preis nach Zermatt für 2 Erwachsene hin/zurück 31.- CHF. Fahrt mit der Zahnradbahn von Zermatt auf den Gornergrat 2 Erw. hin/zurück 156.-Euro.

Prima camping direct naast treinstation voor bezoek Zermat. Tegenover de spoorwegovergang wel elke kwartier 26 belsignalen voor annkomende trein. Toilet en afwasmogelijkheden beperkt, kan op een volle camping een probleem zijn.
