Der Platz eignet sich auch für grosse Fahrzeuge (>10m) und ist für eine 100%-ige Erholung geradezu ideal. Die Kinder sind auf den Spielplätzen sehr gut aufgehoben, teils Sichtkontakt zu den (vorderen) Parzellen. Die Sanitärräume sind in guten Zustand und werden regelmässig gereinigt. Im direkt daneben liegenden Thermalbad gelten spezielle Rabatte mit "Mehrfahrtenkarten", mit dem Deponieren der Gästekarte ist das kurze Verlassen des Bades möglich. Teilweise erheblicher Personenwagen-Verkehr (->"Wohnwägeler-Syndrom"!) Hundefrei, somit keine Gefahr von "Beiss-Angriffen! Nettes und hilfsbereites Personal an der Reception, täglich frische Brot-Bestellung möglich. Keine vorgängigen Reservationen möglich, auch nicht gegen Bezahlung! Für den täglichen Bedarf steht ein Einkaufsladen zur Verfügung, für alles andere JUMBO, ALDI, COOP, Tankstellenshops etc. in der näheren Umgebung (Visp).

Hundehalter werden auf zwei separate Stellplätze verwiesen. Man darf mit angeleintem Hund nicht auf dem Platz verkehren. Es hat keinen Robbydog (Hundetoilette) auf dem ganzen Areal. Trotzdem kostet der Hund Fr. 5.- pro Nacht! Das Thermalbad ist schön, jedoch nicht sauber (Fettrand im Becken, Schmutz in der Garderobe)
