De campinguitbater vond het nodig eerst zijn gras te maaien (wat hij elke dag en de hele dag doet) voor hij ons verder hielp. We mochten op de plaats niet overal lopen, het gras kwam op de eerste plaats. Drinkwater moest met een tuinslang genomen worden en die lag gewoon op de grond, hygiëne!
De camping was nergens verlicht en de containerdouches waren aan vernieuwing toe. Er was niets van voedingswaren of zo te koop en de afstand van 500m naar de winkel was erg onderschat.

De ganse dag (zeker elke 5 à 10 minuten moet er wel iemand met de wagen over de centrale weg rijden en iedereen staat aan die weg. Dus mensen een goede raad rijd een stukje verder naar Sachseln aan een iets kleinere Sarne meer en sta daar voor de helft van de prijs op een rustige, propere en prachtige camping.

Een eenvoudige en rustige camping direct aan de noordkant van het Vierwoudsteden meer. Vanaf de camping heeft u vrij uitzicht op de Rigi, het Alpen massief, de Bürgenstock met zijn Hammetschwandlift en de Pilatus.

Van de camping kunt u het meer in om te zwemmen of te roeien. Hier wordt ook veel gebruik van gemaakt doordat de watertemperatuur in de zomermaanden net iets boven de 20 graden Celcius is. Circa 750 meter van de camping is een steiger vanwaar u met de boot uitstapjes over het meer kunt maken. Eén kilometer verder is het station waar de trein genomen kan worden naar Luzern of één van de andere mooie steden en bergen.

Dit deel van Zwitserland leent zich ook nog voor het gebruik van de fiets, doordat het landschap heuvelachtig is. Op sommige stukken is het wel even flink trappen of even een stukje lopen.
Restaurants zijn niet op de camping, maar in het dorp zijn verschillende eet gelegenheden.

Hele eenvoudige en rustige camping. Prachtig uitzicht over het meer, kunt er ideaal zwemmen in het meer. Sanitair is heel netjes, maar zijn wel maar 5 toiletten en 2 douches (wel mannen en vrouwen gescheiden).

Een prachtige, rustige klein camping aan het Vierwoudstedenmeer. Leuk dorpje en vlakbij met openbaar vervoer, bus of trein, naar Luzern.
