Hebben camping als doortrekcamping gebruikt. Met caravan van 2.50 meter breed en slechte/geen verwijzingen is het een dolen over de smalle weggetjes (toegestaan tot 2.00 meter) geweest om op de camping te komen. Werden geplaatst op een veld waar de ruimte op zich voldoende was maar de stroomaansluiting bestond uit een verplaatstbare tuinstroomaansluiting die in de gropnd geduwd was. Hadden wel een speciale adaptor nodig (tegen borg van 10 euro te krijgen). Enorme herrie uit speakers op het terras. Werden we gewaarschuwd dat dit tot 01.00 uur zou duren in verband met afsluiting van het seizoen. Wel werden we uitgenodigd deel te nemen aan het eten van gepofte "marones" die de kampeerders vanaf zes uur zouden poffen. Werden heel gezellig ontvangen. Herrie viel mee.

Een wat moeilijk bereikbare camping. Goed sanitair en een mooi verwarmd zwembad. Plaatsen zijn wisselend, maar in de periode dat wij daar waren was er een redelijk vrije keus. Wel merk je dat je met een grote caravan moeilijker een geschikte plaats vindt, hetgeen voor vele campings geldt. De eigenaar is een bijzonder aardige Italiaans, maar gelukkig ook Duits sprekende man, met interesse waar je zoal naar toe gaat en hoe je het vindt. Mooie omgeving, met name in de "vals" (Verzasca, Calnca Lavizzara, Bavona) kom je verrassend natuurschoon tegen.

Prachtige camping. Wij zijn door iedereen in het Duits of Italiaans te woord gestaan en hebben alles (de winkel, restaurant en receptie) gewoon met euro's kunnen betalen. Een medegast was zo vriendelijk om mij de verloopstekker te schenken en we hebben er een aardige paar dagen aan over gehouden met deze senioren uit Ede. We hebben de omgeving rond getourt met de scooter en ook Belinzona was een prima tip van onze buurman.

Kortom: een prima plek en geen enkele negatieve op of aanmerking kunnen vinden. Zeker de moeite als doorgangscamping, maar ook om er geruime tijd te verblijven. Wij gaan er zeker terug.

Het sanitair zag er goed verzorgd en netjes uit. Het personeel is er vriendelijk. Het zwembad ziet er keurig uit, maar het was niet verwarmd wat wel aangegeven was. Bij nat weer is het een natte boel met de paden die moderig worden. De winkel is de helle dag open en het nodige kan er gekocht worden. Alleen bij aankomst moesten we een aparte stekker kopen voor zes euro. Verder kon je alleen in Zwitserse franken betalen. De omgeving is zeer de moeite waard. Er zijn mooie tochten te maken.

Campingplekken klein en wat rommelig. Slechte afwatering. Personeel spreekt vorrnamelijk Italiaans. Camping zeer geschikt voor rustzoekers. Mooie vlakke fietspaden aansluitend aan camping naar Locarna en Bellinzona.
