Clean and big enough pitches. The lower facility block is quite new and therefore nice and mostly clean.
Staff was friendly though they didn\'t speak English, so if you don\'t speak any French it is going to be a bit of challenge. The site itself and the little restaurant terrace have a great view of Lac Chambon. Food in the restaurant was good. In retrospective - the fondue menu seem to be a good option.
Spent a lovely 6 nights here and hope to return next year. They views are wonderful from the front pitches and we had the pool to ourselves most days. The area is lovely with lots of great walks and views of extinct volcanoes and mountains. The site is very well kept and facilities extremely clean.
This campsite has to have one of the most stunning views for a campsite. We woke up to hot air balloons floating above the lake. The owners are really helpful and clearly take great pride in their campsite. The toilets, showers and pool are kept spotlessly clean. The pitches area good size and kept immaculately. There are flowers in hanging baskets and boarders all around the site. There is even a stream running through the site with a wooden bridge. Food was good. First class site with first class owners.
This is a beautiful site and in September we had the pool all to ourselves.
The owners have a fondue evening which was wonderful and contained all nationalities. We do not normally socialise much but this was great as we were all mixed up and talked all evening about our various travels and good places to visit. Fortunately most people spoke English. This was the only site in a three week tour that had really hot water in the showers.
