We discovered this site when returning home june 2015. Intending to stay one night we stopped for three because of the pleasent surroundings, the lake & its wild life etc. In May 2016 heading south we stayed again for five days, we stayed one more night on our return journey. We LOVE IT! The lady(Celine???) on reception was very friendly & helpful letting us choose a pitch by the lake, we must NOT forget Alice who kept the toilet/shower blocks spotless. We shared the pool with a family(4) & frequently had it to ourselves. Reception Opens: low season. 9h-12h./14h-17h. Strictly adhered to. Will we return? YOU CAN BET ON IT!
The most unpleasant, rude unreliable and arrogant, staff we ever met on a camping.
They first promised on the phone we could check out a bit later. Then after driving 130 km extra, they forgot everything and did not even let us enter the camping when we got upset about this.
Don\'t trust these people!
Really nice campsite staff very friendly would recommend it our only issue was the language but that is more down to us not being able to speak French but we managed ok would return to this site

This campsite was a bad experience! Before checking in we wanted to walk around the campsite to see if it was ok since we hadn\'t been there before, but this was not allowed. The lady at the reception desk was very unwelcoming. Because it was already late and raining we checked in anyway. Driving to our pitch we noticed that the campsite wasn\'t looked after properly. The pitch itself was small and looked very run down. We decided this was not for us and to drive on. During check in we had to hand in my pasport as a garant but getting it back proved difficult. The lady wanted us to pay an amount of money for it. We refused this and she was very rude to us! I\'m glad we didn\'t stay here!
While we were there the site accepted three bus loads of teenagers for a football competition. They were left unsupervised in the mobile homes so they partied until 3 am. When we told the staff they said they couldn't do anything. I would not recommend this site as it is used as a "open air hotel" so this sort of occurrence is common place. Additionally the few toilet facilities are unable to cope and are extremely basic.
Very convenient for Carcassonne [15 minutes] and many other places on the Cathar trail. Canal du Midi close by. The site was very empty and looked uncared for in September 2011.
