Spacious site by the side of the River Vienne. The pitches vary in size and some offer shade. Sanitation block is clean and well equipped, but suffers from poor drainage meaning the floor gets wet. The site is 30 minutes walk from the town via a path, partially pedestrianised. The town is very interesting and well worth a visit. Good bars and restaurants (Le ResTaureau is a relais that offers good value). Gay-Lussac museum also interesting. Plenty of places to walk or cycle and fishing for carp and barbel in the river nearby.
